YouTube for reference

I think it was mostly staged but I think it definitely went over the lines past what either expected a few times and it ratchet up very awkwardly.

And yes, I stole the video from another social media site and am posting here because it’s interesting

Staged. Trying to bring Burt back into the spotlight.

Is it weird that I associate Marc Summers more with his low key Food Network show Unwrapped?

Nobody ever remembers the underrated show “What would you do” on Nick after school in the 90s

I think most of it was staged, but Burt definitely looked like he punched mark through the pie at the end.

If staged, don’t know why Burt would agree to it because he came off looking like a complete dick in that thing.

What was the deal with booing carrot top at the end? I didn't quite get it.

I don't think that it was staged at all. I don't think that Reynolds would've agreed to a nobody joking about his divorce, or Summers agreeing to Reynolds joking about banging Mrs. Summers.

Reynolds was a dick and an attention hog. They hated him when he hosted SNL, in part because he'd break character during the skits to mug for the camera.

I find it weird that he started his career by warming up audiences for Alice (which was filmed live)...and he married a woman named Alice. Obviously, he had the hots for Linda Lavin.

Burt Reynolds pretty much always came off looking like a dick.

More real than the beef between Andy Kaufman and Jerry Lawler

That's a blast from the past - she was married to Ron Leibman (Ron Cadillac for you Archer fans) for all of the 1970s.

She is my Gold Standard for a gal that (again, in the 70s) was fairly sexy without being particularly attractive.
