The finals get more and more disappointing.
Remember when they would have to do shite like run uphill or in sand forever, and then they couldn’t sleep at night, and they’d have to eat a whole table of the nastiest shite?

And Leeroy put it so great in explaining how Tony absolutely destroyed his game and future alliances for literally nothing.
He could have kept Johnny then continue to not quite be good enough each and every show, or go for it all.

Anybody else not as excited anymore to find out who wins? They are making us wait a week to find out who can put a puzzle together fastest. Not necessarily edge of your seat television.
I understand that they are trying to get people to watch the reunion, but they are really killing the vibe with this.

FWIW, Bananas is not on the upcoming Champs vs. Stars season. It will be the first season of the Challenge he's not on since Battle of the Seasons back in 2012.

Wow, I didn't even think of it that way, but you are completely right. If they are gonna make it genderless, then it should be the top two getting the advantage.
That was an insanely boring and easy final. I have no idea how Leroy came in second after the sword/basket thing if two people were working against him. And Kyle on the sly was taking swords from all of them.
Sucks for Nicole. Maybe she will talk less shite next time. Same for Tony, although frick Tony. He had a decent season, but still sucks overall. And I never thought I'd say this, but I won't miss Leroy for the rest of the final.
I do think it sucks that John and Melissa had a say in fricking someone over during a final. Sure, it was a game of chance, but still, that was bullshite. Kam lost because Melissa made her bury that long (even though she picked higher when a fricking 10 was showing...idiot).. And Leroy even said in the beginning that with John down there he knew that he would have an advantage over the other dudes (if the high-low worked out that way).
Absolutely hate that they try to boost ratings for the reunion show now by showing who actually won on it. That fricking sucks big time.

Bringing in John and Melissa as vendettas... and then having them deal out a game of high/low was one of the lamest things ever on this show, I think.

Several things this season have made it seem like they are really just figuring out the rules as they go.
1. Shane, after the first elimination: “what happens to the money in the bank if you lose an elimination?” TJ: “yea, uhh, you lose the money and it, uhh, goes back into the pot.”
2. Nelson’s elimination came out of nowhere. After the frogger-hanging-from-a-truck-dodging-boxes challenge, TJ is just like “we, uhh, have too many guys. Nelson, you’re out.”
3. At the start of the final, out of nowhere, “by the way, this season, there is only one winner. Like, one overall winner. No guy and girl winner.”
I hope the reunion ends with TJ giving them all a lecture on why it’s not worth it to go through life with vendettas.

i have never done spoilers for this show and always watch the seasons without knowing anything. the last 2 seasons, i just looked up who won after the final episode.
still got to watch the full season spoiler free, plus didn't have to wait for a reveal. it's the perfect balance.
