My only concern is how the rookies have some want or need to gang up on the vets. There’s no respect and no numbers since the new “vets” terms is used entirely too loosely (Kaila is considered a vet and has been on, what, like 2-3 seasons?)

They ganged up on Veronica, tried to get Brad out quick. So hopefully they don’t try to run Landon quick.

Ideally, it would be awesome to see CT, Derek and darrel welcome back Landon and form an alliance. Or better yet, just bring back old versions of the challenge when it was vets vs rookies. Or at least call it new school versus old school.

WTF were the girls thinking allowing the troika to be three men on a female elimination day? Especially because they had Devin on their side and could have forced the issue.

Natalie basically deserved to be backstabbed for being dumb enough to trust them. Did she not see them just do the same thing to Britni?

That swimming challenge was embarrassing... and like others have said it's absurd that people that have done this for several years still can't competently swim. Work on your weaknesses, people! There is always some element involving swimming, sometimes even in the finals.

It's really hard to tell anything about that last challenge with the way they edited, but it seems like Kyle was struggling, and I wouldn't expect Devin to be very good. For the girls, I'd be shocked if it wasn't Jemmye, but you never know.

FWIW in the after show they played a sneak peak of next week's show and revealed that Zach and Nicole were the top finishers.

I'm irrationally angry about their stupidity here.

I have no vested interest in any player and really just half pay attention while the wife watches, but the stupidity of this may haunt me for a long time!!!!

Nicole is no surprise... Zach has had trouble with endurance at times in the past, but it's still not a huge surprise.

Not only is it embarrassing that they don't know how to swim, they don't even understand how buoyancy works. Cara complained that she wasn't heavy enough to sink and get the balls under the net . Let all the air out your lungs.....you'll sink.

agreed that there is no chance those girls should have let the three guys be the troika. Like not a single chance. And they had Devin on their side so they should've put it to a vote. What would have happened had the three girls been the troika? There would've only been there girls left. Would the losing team had to vote someone in at that point, or would it just automatically have been the remaining in the elimination?

Natalie is the right choice though. She has flip flopped over and over and has zero loyalty.

The fact that they are chowing down on some Burger King is hilarious.

Just had literally less than four minutes between commercials. frick you, MTV. I

I'm wondering what is going on since I am 35 minutes in and we have already seen a challenge AND an elimination.

Czech Republic. Nice. I wonder who missed out. I assume Jemmye and either Devin or Kyle.

I would have to assume Devin and Jemmye. Which is unfortunate, as I would love to see Devin win it.

It wasn't just that they couldn't swim, many of them weren't able to hold their breath for more than 10 seconds which is pathetic. Maybe they're smokers.

I don't think that's it. I think they are just weak enough swimmers that they can't swim down 5 feet from the surface. Think of when you first learn to swim. You can stay afloat and maybe even do a lap, but you can't go down much beyond the surface. At least it was that way for me when I was probably 7 or 8.

I honestly think that Kam and Nelson can barely swim. If they were in an Olympic size pool, I don't think they could make it all the way on their own, even in an untimed, no pressure setting. Leroy and Kailah are more in the category of what I was as a little kid, which makes no sense since Kailah grew up in Florida and went to a school that has its own beach

If Tony's quit smoking, I don't know if anyone else even smokes these days besides Marie and Brad. Maybe some of the Brits who already left (definitely not Joss). Probably CT for next season

I think they just panic once they start going underwater.

Kam would have possibly drowned had the divers not rescued her, so yeah, she obviously can't swim at all.

Also, everybody on team one, held the ball out in front of them as they did a suface dive down, pushing the ball the whole way.

Everyone on team two (who attempted to go down), had the ball resting against their stomach. If you've ever played with a volleyball in a pool, you'll know which way is harder.

I honesty can’t believe MTV doesn’t make them know how to swim before coming on the show. There are so many challenges in and over water, it’s surprising that they wouldn’t make it a prerequisite for liability purposes alone.

I'm sure in a pool with no competition going on they can all (well, maybe not Kam) do alright and show some basic swimming competency.

Pretty sure most of them at least were able to dive down during the night-time challenge in the Mediterranean Sea, right?

They are also all wearing life vests for the challenges that are just over the water like the ones jumping across the cars.
