That episode had some serious foreshadowing that Natalie would back stab Kam.
I really wish it would be Jemmye tho. I just don’t like looking at her. She’s usually gone by now.

I think MTV cashed in on the drama. Leroy was face down for 1/4 of a second, but they slow mowed it and cut back and forth to it 3 or 5 times with reactions from everyone to make it seem like it was a long time.
I agree they should've had a jet-ski or rescue swimmers closer though

shite, you're right. My bad. I meant when she was bitching about Kam giving her the grenade...not throw her in. She was bitching about being lubed up before that challenge.

A challenge like that should have a diver about 20 feet under and at least 1 jet ski medic on hand... But even in Spain it looked like they had virtually nothing.
Its seriously unthinkable how they do this shite with basically just Jose the Ambulance driver on standby eating a taco...
It does seem like they finally wised up at least a little bit because there hasn't been any 9000 story building high wire type challenges like they did 6-10 yrs ago. That's shits just dumb and they should've stopped it after old school Veronica's near disaster with other chick pulling on her zipline buckle.
I guarantee you those girls like Jemmye basically showed out for 20 minutes before that car challenge

Coming off one the the greatest episodes in Challenge history.........
DRIVEMAN POWER RANKINGS
1. Bananas - Still #1 although he knows his hour glass is getting mighty LOW when you hear him talk about “we all dodged a bullet” with Joss going out. He did an AMA on reddit basically confirming he’s next in line after TJ and admitting he’s pretty much a producer
2. Cara Maria - Her only competition from a physical standpoint is Kam (and Boigas) and she’ll be too naive to get much further.
3. Roy Lee - Being Johnny’s #1 has its perks
4. Zach - . Looks like Tarzan, plays like Jane. Beast but soft as Charmin. Still can’t believe he lost to halfHAND in the hammer the anvil challenge a few years ago. And we can still hear him shrieking from the side of that mountain
5. BOIGAS - Cara Maria’s only real competition. But she’s dumb as a brick and not really a great athlete. Props for nailing down Melissa doe
6. Tigerland Tony - After years of threatening a New Tony, we’re actually starting to SEE it. He’s had by far his best season and could have a little “team of destiny” going on and you can see him gaining confo. His eating challenge will live in Challenge lore forever
7. Kailah - Still not completely sold but she has heart in the challenges and knows HOW to play the game in only a couple of seasons.
8. Brad - Good to have him back, roided to the gills. But it doesn’t seem like many people (ie Bananas) has his back so that’s a problem. I can’t figure out if Britini is hot. I do know Melinda was one of the finest girls ever on RW
9. Natalie - Still can’t get the casual arse shot from ep 2 or 3 out of my driveMIND. Fake as frick. Think she is someone that the girls will unite against in time but she’s done a great job of riding the BANANA thus far
10. Nelly - Pretty much a guy version of Boigas. He’s a gymathlete and that can get you pretty far. Watching him and Corey try to kick a soccer ball was cringe
11. Kam - speaking of cringe, that whole bathroom segment....SHOOT me in the head.
12. Kyle - Seems like a good brother, but haven’t really seen much in the challenges. That means he’s playing a pretty solid game so far.
13. Britni - She’s got some spunk and is doing her best to Make Skinny Dipping Great Again
14. Devin - this guy is a total fraud. Try’s to play Wes’s game but with zero clout. Doesn’t have an athletic bone in his body and his interviews are so “in character” that you see right through him
15. Marie - By far the driveMAN’s least favorite person on the show, for all of the obvious reasons, but let’s be real I couldn’t rank her below.......
16. Jemmeye - She makes James Ellesworth look like Jay Leno. Terrible to look at, terrible to listen to, and has zero to offer by WAY of athlete. They try to make her into some kind of challenge “savant” when she doesn’t know shite about winning finals. Guarantee she’s the new Aneesa when the time comes

I don't think I would like John as a host. Hell, I still hate on TJ sometimes, but he has grown on me. I just think John would want to be part of the act too much to just be a host. I know he would do it, but I think he would come off bad in that role.

I do agree with this fasho. You can tell he's trying to be something that he isn't. We shall see if it works. I appreciate him trying to mix things up, but sometimes it just comes off as so bad and fake. I am interested to see just how that conversation with him and John goes next week.

The eliminations this season seem to be a bit more dangerous as far as exposure to injuries go
You could see Zach was cut up from that glass. I was surprised he wasn’t cut up more from all the shards of glass.

That had to be some sturdy glass to hold the weight of that water and the player
And I think MTV edited the video of Leroy face down in the water to make it seem like he was in that position a lot longer than he actually was. You could see a rescue swimmer with a board swimming out there in one of the cut scenes, so they had someone at that ready

I remember they had an elimination way back in the day (one of the Inferno seasons I think) that had them busting through glass. And Timmy totally f’d up his knee doing it and I think wasnever quite the same.

His comeback is one of the greatest in Challenge history IMO. He used to be a sideways wearing hat young buck. Now he’s roided up in his mid 30s with a young hooters gal

I liked the mercenaries concept. It reminded me of American Gladiators. In the future it could be a good way for MTV to lure some of the vets back in without requiring a full season commitment. It would be cool if, one week, one of the grenades is the chance to call in the mercenaries for the next elimination, possibly eliminating four people a once.
On a side note, Devin is annoying. He acts like he's the Joker or something.
