That’s an interesting idea but I’m not sure how it would logistically work. It’s not like they can have mercenaries on standby. The main reason those people aren’t on the show is time commitment.
However, it’d be cool to have a plot twist in the middle of the season where if you win a Grenade, you can choose to basically pick a mercenary to stay and send someone how in the process. It would work for both sides...IE CT comes in midway through, doesn’t have to commit to weeks/months and can take over. Would be the ultimate power move

They could basically give them the same deal they give TJ. Bring your family to this tropical island for 2 weeks. You'll definitely film one day, and there's the chance you'll film one more the next week.
I also thought it would have been a cool touch if they said that the mercenaries would get $X.XX if they won. It would give them more incentive, obviously, in the case that the mercenary happened to be going up against someone who they are friends with.

Leroy is his bff. And the girls had a choice to align with him or Devin. Seems like a pretty easy choice if I was in their shoes.
Kailah will definitely be voting for him next week. And I think Tony ends up betraying him. And then he destroys Devin in the elimination.

They all know Bananas is running the game. Do they think he's really gonna protect everyone? If you can get rid of him its a free for all and anyone has a chance to win.

Jemmye’s only chance to win is to ride someone like Bananas to the finish line. And then everyone else in the final dies of food poisoning for the eating challenge. She set herself up nicely for the first part of that.
I don’t think Tony and Zach would send Leroy in. So if the girls sent Bananas in he would have probably gotten Nelson or Devin. You gotta favorite Bananas in that. So then you’d have a pissed off Bananas coming back to the house with a grenade for a girls elimination.
You never want to vote someone in who could come back and have power. Bananas will actually probably feel that wrath from Kailah next week. He was on the shitty team this week because of it.
He even said this episode that Natalie was the only girl that had his back. Cara is probably #2. After that I’d be fighting for #3.
