I feel like Kimiko losing her powers is a preview for that happening to someone in the seven. Maybe homelander? Maybe someone else, at least temporarily

It healed Hughie's broken arm, I would have given it a good chance to heal Kimiko's injuries too. And let's consider the nature of her injuries- she'd gotten impaled in the torso, and they were worried she would die on the scene. MM is a solid medic, but you're saying she has time to get to the Russian airport, FLY BACK to the US, and then make a trip to a hospital there? That's not how most airlifts work.

Starlight’s nose bleeding after the talk with Neuman…did she try to pop Starlight’s head but failed?? There was that moment…seems the moment and then the nosebleed wasn’t just nothing.

She popped a couple supe's heads in Congress, they aren't immune. I think she maybe could get Homelander, but it would take a few seconds, and he could kill her in those seconds.

True. I guess it’s kinda good how they keep the power versus power element so ambitious (ETA: I meant to write “ambiguous”), which was paramount during the Homelander versus Soldier Boy and Butcher fight. We’re left to look to the character’s reactions to judge it. And that leads to a good point - some here have the W to Homelander but he ran away and later seemed scared, that speaks volumes.
So maybe the quintessential question is can they kill Homelander? Isn’t the answer Yes?

Homelander is panicking because he's got horrible coping mechanisms, and he was put in serious jeopardy this last fight. He's NEVER had to work to win, against anyone. And 1 on 1, he was gonna rip Soldier Boy's head off in another couple seconds.
But then, Butcher on the temp V came in, and that threw everything out of order. 2 on 1, they had him fairly evenly matched, and Soldier Boy was about to let loose with his atomic blast... we don't know if that can kill him or not. But it MIGHT, and he WAS pinned down for a few seconds.
That's nothing he's ever faced before.

The problem now is they missed their shot at Homelander and their source for Temp V is MIA. How many doses do they have left?

Yeah that was basically their shot at him with him not expecting it. And they missed. So now he knows what they’re capable of. Even if he doesn’t know exactly what SB’s laser does (erases your power), he knows there’s something there, and he knows Butcher’s crew can V up and have powers. So now the next shot they take at him will be against a more prepared HL.
And I’d absolutely love to see a V’d up MM. He would wreck so much shop and be insane.
You do remember that E1 of this season had a miniature dude crawl (literally) into the head of his gay lover’s penis and explode and kill him, right? Nothing at the Herogasm party was near that level of depraved.
Or Popclaw getting her arse eaten out right before she clinched down and crushed her landlord’s head like a grape in S1? For a show like this that pushes the envelope at every turn, I thought the party was toned down a little, yeah.

When Neuman was attacked in the alley it was revealed that she has to have eyes on whatever she wants to pop. So in that scene she popped the guy’s hand first then his head. So I would think starlight could blind her in an instant and render her helpless. Or many supes if they are aware of her power could attack before she does since she does seem to need a couple seconds to pop a head.
