What all would you have made her do to keep her job? It seems like a lot.

Dude, no shite, right? I thought the same thing the entire season. Though I will say the guy that played Homelander was awesome.

There was definitely a rape scene. I just don't think it was Deep doing the raping, it was Deep getting raped in episode 6, but I guess since he's a gut it doesn't count.

I can see this show will need a Hodor thread.

Hodors can be called Hughies.

Maesters will be Homelanders.

The thing great about the show is that it makes you think how people in power(politicians) are really like behind closed doors.

Have you seen The Brink?

If we're being honest the show has jumped so far from the comic that we're in a different realm of evil supes and corporate greed stories.

It's just that if you've read a lot of comics. All of this is familiar territory.

The difference being they went early with the plot changes, the independent lore they've created works, and it's a satisfying story so far. And it's leaving those familiar with the source material with very good questions and hooks.

Great show! I actually didn't know anything about it till I saw Slipknot's Solway Firth video with some clips in it.

So I am guessing supes can’t pass their comp V powers on to their offspring, so the kid is something special. Maybe some reason why she was chosen as the mom.

The show has veered so far from the comics that I don’t think anybody knows that answer. Homelander having a child is completely off canon.

If the lakers could be passed on wouldn’t they just be breeding the supes in stead of giving the comp V. Not to mention you know they are banging everything that walks.

That's about the only thing that's stayed consistent for V as Mother's Milk was born a supe. So V'ed up people passing it on in show is their only similarity.

In the comic V, wild or in the lab is a crapshoot without Vogelbaum heading it up. show Vought seems more designer with it, even without the kraut.

Two points about Homelander....

Homelander in this show is a very good example of what Batman in BvS was so afraid that Superman really was and why he tried to kill him.

Homelander is also a good example of why Superman being raised by Jonathan and Martha Kent in Smallville, Kansas is so important to his character development and the way he views the world, his ethics in his both private and public lives and how he treats people regardless of where on the moral alignment scale they are.
