3. How about that spin move shot by the Mod as he was helping Santo
I shook my head at that. The Mod's were easily the worst part of the show.
Also what about Fennec just disappearing for essentially the entire battle after helping the Mod's?

I was ok with that. She's an assassin. She probably figured she could help best by cutting the head off the snake.

After watching the finale, I think the series really dropped the ball in a big way by not keeping the Hutts, a far more interesting pair of bad guys as the main villain(s), as opposed to the Pykes, who bring nothing to the table as far as story continuity is concerned.
Nothing the Pykes did could not have been done by the Hutts, who had a personal stake in the disposition of Jabba’s territory.
Plus, in the finale, rather than having two nameless, faceless, giant battle droids delivering the bulk of the menace… you could have put each Hutt in a similar battle-mech and put on a show that was much more fun and had higher stakes.

I agree. I had completely forgotten the Hutts were involed. At the time when they said they were leaving because Tatooine wasn't worth it, I remember thinking that was a ruse to make Boba lower his guard. I'm surprised that turned out to be true.
The other side of the argument is that this makes Boba's story more important. If he was defeating the Hutts, it would have just been one crime boss beating another. With the Pykes, he is an adopted son of Tatooine saving it from foreigners.
I think the best method would have been doing a bit of both. Keep the Hutts but really play into how terrible they were to the natives. Then, you make Boba a liberator and uniter.

I doubt Bane is dead. Like someone else said, they showed the sensor beeping on his chest.
I'm with you. I think that beeping sensor that they paused on was to alert Todo to come get him.
But like others have said, it definitely wasn't the best episode despite it having the most action scenes. The pacing was off or something. And they should've shown Fennec's assassination during the battle, and not after. She said that she was going to take out the command center to help Boba's crew, but it ended up just being an after the fact assassination since Boba's crew already won.

This episode basically confirmed that Bane trained Boba at some point.

If you'd watched "The Clone Wars", you'd already know this.

Good not great episode. I did enjoy the rancor coming out and wrecking shite. I hate the mods and wish they'd go away.

I did. We didn't really get much confirmation that Bane actually took him on as a student, though, other than a deleted scene/pre-production scene that was not officially canon.

Mistake killing Bane, he had endless uses in the future of these series
I thought for sure that Fett was going to have Bane in restraints, chilling in the Bacta tank.

It was like watching a ballet where all the dancers were off by just one step the entire time. You just knew something wasn't quite right.

Another thing that I thought of is how it didn't make any sense for the Pykes to send in the droids after they got annihilated by the Fett gang instead of before. I understand for the story that it makes sense for the good guys to overcome adversity only to face a bigger challenge. However, this was just another thing that was slightly off about the episode.
I think that a solution could have been showing the bosses with the mayor during the battle. The Pykes could have promised to keep the city as in tact as possible by sending in troops. Once it's clear that won't get the job done, they can send in the droids against the mayor's wishes.

Damn that episode was a huge letdown
I kept waiting for something else at the end to hype up whatever came next and it never happened. The Rancor just doesn’t do it for me. Also I know that it is Star Wars, but man the giant scorpion droids not hitting any of their shots at the 50 people running away in the middle of the street right in front of them was terrible.
A lot of the CGI in this episode also felt off to me and the hipster clan is cringe af in every scene.
I actually paused and went back to see this again. So unnecessary and over the top.
This episode felt like one of the first two of the season instead of the last two fantastic ones.

I actually liked this series but my biggest complaint was it just felt too Disney at times. The hipster street gang mods are the biggest example of that to me.

Episode was lame, everything wrapped up too neatly and there was no surprise appearance/cliffhanger.

It is generally agreed that Tatooine is a Force Nexus. The power there is what allowed Obi-Wan and Luke to stay hidden from Vader.

Cad Bane being introduced (non clone wars) one episode then getting killed the next was fricking lame.
Episode stunk, I said it. No Cliffhanger, poor cgi & script along with choreography. Episode 5 & 6 were home runs and this was a ground out to the pitcher. Didn’t see it coming after those.

Hold your water. I'd imagine he's gonna pop up in the Obi-Wan series
