Almost certainly, Mando will join, as well as the Tusken Warriorette.

If this happens I'm interested in seeing how it happens, because I believe we are all caught up on the flash backs.

Only thing missing I can think of is how did Boba and Fennec get through Bib Fortuna's security so easily for the Mandalorian post-credit scene? Especially after they had just previously broken into the palace and gotten into a big fire fight taking back Slave 1. Plus Bib acts surprised to see him and says he thought Boba was dead...did he really not know Boba was the one who stole back the ship? That's about the only question unanswered with the flashbacks

As before I think how much you like this is based on how much you like the Easter eggs and weaving so many storylines together from canon and the EU.

Right.

I loved the wookie pulling the arm out of the socket (I had to rewind to make sure I saw that right).

The kitchen droid (not the chopper) was the one that assigned 3PO as Jabba's translator and put R2 as the drink server on the sail barge.

Pretty cool to see the various members of Jabba's security crew like the Weequays hugn around and worked for Bib Fortuna.

I'm still trying to figure out why Tatooine is such a draw for Twileks. The mayor's assistant, Jennifer Beal's character, her assistant, and several others in the background.

He wasn't the sharpest knife in the drawer and as the recent episode noted, he wasn't well liked (and I would imagine that was the case within his "family" as well).

Boba was associated with his armor (and no one had ever escaped the Sarlacc before). He had already gotten into the ship before any of the people that might have recognized him (unlikely) arrived in the "hangar" where the ship was located.

All Bib knew is someone snuck in and stole that ship (which had clearly been just sitting there collecting dust since Boba "died").

Caught up on this today. It's very...ok? Not awful, not great. No idea what they are trying to do. The power rangers on bikes was weak.

Just seems like oh here's an idea annnd it's gone. On to the next one annnd it's gone. It's all over the place.

This sums up my thoughts on it perfectly. I came in expecting Sopranos In Space but instead it feels more like the Mandalorian series got date-raped by the last couple of seasons of Arrow and this is the resulting love-child. Something that has the framework of being gritty and violent but never quite achieves it.

This show has its moments but just doesn't feel like Star Wars (see Mandalorian) to me. Things just seem so out of place, like the scooter gang and the "tatoo parlor" scene from Episode 4.

If Disney didn’t go woke I don’t think those scenes would have been included. Those characters just don’t fit into the Star Wars vibe.

They would absolutely fit on an urban planet like Coruscant. They just don't fit Tatooine.

The cyborg punk aesthetic could have worked if their cyborg parts and bikes looked rusty and salvaged out of a lot of random stuff. You know what would have been cool? If they were pod racers. They are the only humans, since that one kid won the Bonta Eve, that can do it because the enhancements increase their reaction time. It would give a purpose for them being there while also giving them a callback. There could also be a line about how due to something something the pod races have been suspended, which explains why they're out of work. Boba could be tasked with solving the problem that caused the races to be suspended, maybe it has something to do with the previous train robbery scene, I don't know.

That would have felt a lot less out of place.

Also, did anyone think the line about Boba having been with the tuskans for years seem out of place? It really didn't seem like it had been YEARS since he'd crawled out of that sarlac pit before getting his ship back. It seemed like it should have only been a few months.

Does look like it would’ve fit in Coruscant underworld.

Boba didn’t get his ship back until after he met/rescued Fennec after she was left for dead in season 1 of Mandalorian. Mandalorian and BOBF are set about 5 years after ROTJ and the sarlac pit. So Boba had to have spent a few uneventful years living among the Tuskens for the timeline to line up

In the prequels? Absolutely. Sequels, less so. But I could sorta see it. Coruscant is a fashionable place.

It is a bit cyber punk and does feel out of place. Plus the whole edgy young folk thing I'd over played

Could it be that young adults often copy trends from far off places that are considered cool and stick out when they do.

We have seen small groups of punk, emo, goth culture in small town USA.

Someone mentioned the mod parlor being out of place and I agree but something like it was needed for Shands arc and it makes the mod gang more believable by showing the little pocket of counterculture.

The mod parlor as well as some more thought have gotten me believing the mods aren't any sort of stretch. Just a group of kids flexing their individuality by latching on to the different, just like we do today. They certainly stand out but kids trying to stand out is a fairly universal theme for humans.

I am not trying to be an apologist but few things in either of these series strike me as poorly thought out, it tends to weave together at least after a while.

I also wonder if the physics of the low speed chase were also a very conscious decision. Scooters aren't very fast, at least not the ones they mirror and speeders have been shown to be very fast in the open but may not be on tight streets.

I also wondered if the biker gang would play the rockers role in a mod vs rockers face-off (reminiscent to England) but Boba seems to have ended that potential.

I may be thinking too much but I think just seeing the mod gang as being wholly out of place and dismissing them is thinking too little.

Jennifer Beals is fine AF as Garsa Fwip. I know we say it weekly, but it bears repeating.

EV-9D9's return in the kitchen was a nice callback.

Mando is absolutely going to be coming back, and those who speculate that this series will flow into Mando S3 are likely spot on.

Some folks online are lamenting Fett's expanded humanity, but I'm digging it.

I think I'm putting her on a tier just barely below Liz Hurley and Halle Berry, but damn, she's up there.

I still think he’s kind of ruthless. I mean he just emotionlessly eliminated the biker gang in Slave I

I enjoyed the sarlac scene. I thought it was nice that they referenced Cobb Vanth/Space Raylan with the “Fire in the hole”

I know that was a Boyd line, but it can’t be coincidence that they’re looking for the armor that he has and they drop that line.

.

Lucas had plenty of fluff and stupid characters, that didn't fit into Star Wars, ever since Ewoks in Return of the Jedi. The only movies that were "Star Wars Movies" were A New Hope and Empire Strikes Back.

Jar Jar Binks was all Lucas and way before Disney and it's so called "wokeness". He is still by far the worst character ever.

Also I don't get this whole Disney woke thing. It's frickin Disney. They've always made fluffy kid movies and don't want cursing and stuff in their movies. Woke is an overused lazy term.
