Well they're going for something grittier for sure.
I wonder though if that means this particular bat will be more of a street enforcer or some shite like that.

Not sure what to think about the Batmobile and suit. But if they're going with a Year One Bats, this kind of makes sense that he'd have sort of a bare bones vehicle and suit. Maybe his tech will improve as this story progresses.

Not really a fan of how low tech they're making Pattinson's Batman be.
Bruce Wayne is as rich as Tony Stark and Stark had much more powerful and advanced technology in the first Iron Man movie. Surely Bruce can afford more fancier and powerful tech than what they're giving the Pattinson version right now.
Part of the aura and effectiveness of Batman is his advantage in technology that his enemies could never hope to match and have no idea how to do so.

Snyder's vision of grittiness and muted down color scheme actually works really well for Batman.
The problem with Snyder though and why he was forced out is that approach only works for Batman, not bright and colorful characters full of hope like Superman, Wonder Woman and the Flash.
