Oh, Lawd. You used the “G” word in reference to Batman. The Snyder haters will be here shortly.

There is a huge difference in making something dark and gritty b/c you think it looks cool vs actually having legitimate thematic reasons for it.

You won't have to type that out in every thread if you add it as your signature image.

Oh no. I'll type it.

Over and over and over and over again.

Part of the aura and effectiveness of Batman is his advantage in technology that his enemies could never hope to match and have no idea how to do so.

Well if the likes of Arthur Fleck represent the new age of Batman villians. Then "The Bat" will have to be reduced to a bitchin' cherry muscle car, sportin' a bad arse Hurst shifter.

This Bat races for pink slips.

Not really a fan of how low tech they're making Pattinson's Batman be.

Bruce Wayne is as rich as Tony Stark and Stark had much more powerful and advanced technology in the first Iron Man movie. Surely Bruce can afford more fancier and powerful tech than what they're giving the Pattinson version right now.
Well to be fair, Tony Stark is the physics and engineering genius behind most of his tech and weapons. Batman's genius is focused more on criminal psychology

Batman is not limited due to funds in this comparison, he is limited in his reliance on others when it comes to tech. Most of his tech I would assume comes from the minds of wayne tech and lucious fox and even Albert. But Bruce Wayne is more physically imposing, gifted and skilled than Tony Stark

That is why I do not mind a batman that is less reliant on gadgets if I can buy him being quasi-superhuman. That is one of the things I liked about Affleck's batman. You could look at him and automatically assume he has a physical advantage over anyone that is not superhuman

BatFleck will return if the Snyder Cut is a huge hit.

Reeves movie will likely be a very good film, but Robby already has expressed too much frustration for the physicality of the role.

Flashpoint and the inevitable Doomsday Clock movie will make this all make sense.
