They undo their own cannon all the time but I think your idea is kind of how they’ll try to do it. The Sith will learn this new power from these witches. One way or another this lesbian witch clan will be credited with being the most powerful force users ever, they’ll be responsible for the Siths incredible power and for the coming of Anakin.

Guys, this isn’t the first time the nightsisters have appeared. They live alone and secluded, they’re powerful force users, and they’re all women. There are many clone wars episodes that document this.
There’s a lot to criticize about this show so far, I don’t think creating a lesbian woke cult is one of them.

Yep but it’s such a popular theory and there’s evidence in the movies that Anakin was either created by the Force itself or because of Plagueis and Sidious combined (which would be an incredible amount of Force power) that created Anakin.
And it’s kind of assumed that it took both Plagueis and Sidious combined to do it because otherwise Sidious would have just killed Anakin after he lost to Obi Wan and created another anomaly just like him and molded him
So it took The Force itself or two of the most powerful canon force users ever to create one anomaly like Anakin. But these two random witches did it just 100 years before two Sith Lords did. Right

The ONLY bright side to this series is that this might officially be the end of Kathleen Kennedy as the Star Wars lead at Disney. The viewership for this show is about to plummet. Most of this episode could have been condensed into a 10-12 min opening for episode 1.
I think it’s clear, and has been for a while, that Disney just doesn’t care about the quality of their shows as long as the shows try to target every single demographic in order to get as many subscriptions to Disney+ as possible. But because they’re more worried about subscribers and money, they fail to realize just how much the quality varies from show to show. Look at Loki then look at She-Hulk. Look at Andor then look at this show. There’s no standard. The only standard is inclusiveness so that way more people will want to subscribe, but they don’t realize they’re alienating the demographic that does give a shite about Star Wars by producing half baked, poorly run/written shows. And the groups they’re trying to target still aren’t going to watch this show or very many Disney shows at all. This show, based off the premise, should be incredible. It’s far from it…maybe next time boys…
