I mean Rey wanted to learn from Luke.
But turns out she just needed to believe in herself, or whatever the dumb feminist trope is. . .
Yep, Luke had to go on the Hero's journey and endure arduous training. So much so that his teacher still didn't even believe that he was ready to fight Vader three movies in to the series.
Rey and other females know that they just need to believe in themselves to awake their innate force abilities. Kathleen Kennedy has corrected the dumb male belief about the force.

They obviously aren't from Dathomir since they aren't on Dathomir, nor have they mentioned anything about Dathomir or the Nightsisters, but the one lesbo mom that claims she carried the twins has the horns like the men of Dathomir. Knowing the writer, am i to assume she's a transgender biological man from Dathomir?
She is probably just a normal Zabrak woman. The females on Dathomir are born hornless, but the Zabrak from Irodonia have horns like her.

Lesbian Cults in fricking Star Wars?

over-inclusiveness happen every single show.
Idiots will go on here and say that Star Wars fans are homophobes, transphobes, whatever. And there is a certain sect of the fan base like that just like any other fan base. But I don’t think Star Wars fans would really give a shite if it was just WELL WRITTEN. There wasn’t any wokeness in Kenobi. People will say Reva was but she was just a poorly written character. If she was compelling, like Trilla in Jedi Fallen Order video game, people would not have given two shits she was a woman. And there were other parts of Kenobi that weren’t woke that were simply just fricking poor writing.
If the quality of this show were House of the Dragon/The Bear where it was Emmy quality, people wouldn’t care. But it’s the fact that they make these shows inclusive to the detriment of the entire show. The writing is piss poor. The acting, outside of the wonderful Lee Jung-Jae who plays Sol, is lifeless. The direction is aimless. The story is boring. Mae and Sol were the only compelling characters and then they made Mae an evil little shite in this episode. But not only do they hire people with agendas, they hire people that disregard simple things that had been established in Star Wars. The Force isn’t a “Thread” you can simply touch and use when you want. It’s everywhere. All of the time. It surrounds and binds us (at least in Star Wars world) and that still holds true to the Dark Side as well if you wanted to make an argument they were talking about the dark side. Maul even says the Dark Side has never been stronger when he fought Ashoka in Clone Wars. And he wasn’t actively using the Dark Side at the time.
Then you have these Jedi that killed an entire coven of witches for two 10-year-old girls they shouldn’t be training anyway. I mean my God Anakin was 9 and THE CHOSEN ONE, and it still took Obi Wan saying he would leave the Jedi entirely AND the fact it was the dying wish of one of the wisest Jedi in the order in order to train Anakin because that’s how badly the Council did not want Anakin trained. He was too old. At 9. These girls are the same age or older.

Your ability to shill for this show at every corner is noteworthy.
Ignore the fact that Leslye’s “wife” has a prominent role on the show, and that she can’t act. You focus on the fact that her character is dull and monotonous can’t be used against her to judge her acting skills.
I’m done.

It would make a whole lot more sense if this was a clan that broke away from Dathomir at some point. The reason the witches of Dathomir became so powerful is b/c a Jedi trained them 600 years ago, and also that planet has always had the dark side doing something on it.
And it would take two fricking seconds to write that in as a piece of dialogue to explain that. But it isn’t explained at all. They’re “hunted and persecuted” but it’s ambiguous because we have to draw parallels to how the LGBTQ was treated like shite at one point in time…

No progressive can ever explain how ASOIAF fans like myself weren’t upset with the portrayal of Corlys and his family in HOTD as being black. It’s because it makes sense in the shows world and they did the proper work to ground it in the world properly and with reason. The writing is also very top tier along with the acting. Somehow no one can explain how us bigots are huge fans of that show and race swap.

All Star Wars fans want is well written, well directed shows that don’t break previously established canon. That’s all we want. And we can’t get it

That’s because the people in charge of the franchise are more interested in using it as a tool to push their political agenda than telling good stories.

Exactly. All of the Velaryons in the show are incredibly well written and acted. Even Laenor is gay as frick but no one cared because his character was handled well and acted well too.
Laenor is written as an actual person. An arc. He has strengths and weaknesses. A full fledged and realized character. The only character in this show so far that has that is Sol. It’s not the fact that they were lesbians. It’s the fact none of them were written with any care and nuance, probably just placebos for Leslye and any other lesbian that might watch the show so they can self-insert. The only problem with that is that everyone else will give a shite about watching them or what happens to them

Like I said earlier, I don’t even think it’s about agenda. It kind of is but I think it’s way more about Disney pushing inclusiveness because they want to reach every single demographic they can in order to get as many subscribers to Disney + as possible. They have to in order to justify its existence and all the money they’re pumping into these shite shows
The Mouse cares about money. And it’s clear they will sacrifice show quality to make sure everyone feels they can be included in Star Wars. But when you try to make something for everyone, you end up making a show for no one.

They can’t bring themselves to realize the problem isn’t and never has been diversity. The 90s era of films were incredibly diverse and inclusive both by the ACTUAL meaning of those and the brain rot prog double speak meaning of them. To see this obvious truth though would be to much for them. It would be akin to forcing a psychotic break of sort. The problem is DEI paving the way for talentless fricks. Not the race or sexual orientation of whoever is on screen.

How is that working out for them?

How can you think this? Every single Star Wars and marvel show draws a smaller audience and has worse retention by every single metric available consistently in a row one after another with very few exceptions. It’s a literal direct line for almost 3 years straight. Same with their movies tanking all the time the last few years. The activist hacks actually making the shows are retarded but the money people running the worlds biggest entertainment studio are not I assure you. They’re doing this because they want to.

So if these lesbians didn't come from Dathomir, where the hell did they come from? There aren't clans of powerful force users in the galaxy outside of Jedi and Dathomir.
There are many cultures and belief systems surrounding The Force. I know many background characters on Jedha from Rogue One are from various different Force religions.
In The Clone Wars season 6, there are a couple episodes heavily inspired by Temple of Doom. The planet they visit practices the use and respect of the Force. They do not like Jedi and consider them child abductors. The Thuggee cult stand-in in these episodes also worship and practice The Force in a darker way, and are allied with Mother Talzin of the Nightsisters. Talzin was using them to help harvest the Force from the victims if I am remembering right.
Ahsoka (the show) even indicates the Nightsister culture and brand of Force magik comes from outside the galaxy.

Then they’re making a huge mistake. Look at it this way; imagine the makers of Barbie decided to start making all Barbie content centered around Ken in an effort to get more male fans. In this new content Ken is portrayed as the smart, independent leader and Barbie is, at best, subservient to Ken and mostly there as comic relief. How well would that go over with the core of Barbie fans? And how many guys would suddenly start getting into Barbie?
Here’s the bottom line. We can live in a fantasy world if we want. And that’s what Disney is doing. They have this fantasy that the reason Star Wars fans have overwhelmingly been male for 40+ years is because it’s primarily had male leading roles. And they think that if they start making Star Wars content centered around women then women will suddenly become sy-fi fans. But the reality of the situation is that the vast majority of women who are not into Star Wars aren’t that way due to lack of “representation”. Instead they’re not into Star Wars because they don’t find sy-fi interesting in general. And the obvious political agenda and pandering is turning off a huge portion of the male Star Wars fanbase. So, what Disney is really doing is alienating the majority of its fans while failing to bring in enough new fans to offset their losses. And what’s really pathetic is they have plenty of evidence this approach they’re taking isn’t working. But they’re still sticking to it.

Exactly my point. But good luck trying to get them to see that. I haven’t watched a single episode of Euphoria but there are queer and trans characters in there I believe that are apparently pretty well written.
And it’s not review bombd or shite on. Guess why? Because it’s probably written and directed by talented people that care more about making the characters interesting and exciting and so people care to see what happens to them. Other than Sol, there’s not a single character on this show I would give two shits about if they just fell over dead. Lack of compelling characters is a death sentence even if the story is good but here’s the thing, the story is boring as frick so now we have a show with characters we don’t care about and a story that is boring and selling us on a mystery of “who started the fire” and it’s falling flat on its arse

The power of many
There is cringe and then there is this... And there are people defending this as a quality show.
