Maybe this is the issue. I have watched close to 100 mlb games this year and I've seen others say they can't sit through 1.
I don't analyze and question the motivation behind every action of every side character in every show I watch. I can watch the Always Sunny cast make stupid decision after stupid decision and it doesnt bother me.
I doubt the folks that watched Gilligan's island back in the day questioned how every episode fit in the lore and how they were gonna get off the island.
Every show doesn't have to be treated like it's "Lost". Some things are just made to be watched and enjoyed. I think this is a big reason Westworld fell off.

After the last 2 decent episodes I had hopes of this show getting on some decent legs only for this latest episode to regress. Another full episode flashback was not needed. I guess they didn't get enough of the lesbo witch coven enough air time.

I haven't watched it yet
shite
That's how bad it has gotten for me, not watching on release day. . .
Probably watch it later today.
No excitement, just a sense of impending dread.
This show may end Star Wars for me.
Maybe I'll be replaced by 2 women or transies? Seems to be what Disney is counting on

Great points made in your post. Over analyzing and posting in depth analysis of every frame of a show is very popular now. People like to gain praise in their echo chambers for the simplest opinions. Unfortunatly the opinions and analysis are not very interesting or enlightning. Often times people project all kinds of nonsense onto simple uncomplicated shows.I wish these folks had enough self esteem to stop sharing their wack opinions.

Idk why I am watching this show other than habitual routine. This series is mediocre. It is not as bad as some of the people are letting on. There is not a single likeable character on this show. That is due to the horrible writing. If they had made likeable and or interesting characters, I would have enjoyed this show.
As for this last episode, the reveal of Sol having killed the mother was a big so what.

Star Wars is sci-fi/fantasy, the reason we fell in love with it was because we were able to suspend our disbelief and live in an alternate universe.
Now people can't even believe that this is the same universe because the Jedi's lightsabers have thicker handles.

Truth. Its cringe across the board. They even made a wookie jedi look lame on screen.

When the gay white girl died in front of Sol, I knew I was supposed to feel something. . .but I just didn't
Her entire character arc was:
-Is better than all the male characters at whatever
-Condescending to all male characters
-dies
At no point did they humanize her, or make her remotely likeable. They gave her no character trait other than "condescending to men".
And somehow she is better than every Jedi Knight at lightsabers fighting

Epsiode 8 better be at least an 1 hr long episode tying up Qimir snd Sols relationship with more Vernestra Rhow and somwthing to do with The Kinights of Ren to get me excited for season 2.
That’s cute you think they’ll be a season 2 of this crap.

Always funny to watch a shill pretend like he knows what he’s talking about.

I’m surprised people are coming for Sol the way they are. Was he too interested in Osha? Probably. But Koril or whatever her name was escalated the situation by attacking them.
And not only that but at that point, Aniseya had shown no kindness to the Jedi at any point and even possessed Tobin so when she fricking begins turning into a smoke demon along with Mae, Sol has no choice but to kill her. She could be harming herself, Mae, and potentially everyone around them. So fricking stupid

They could have rolled three and seven into one episode, and I think as a viewer that could have helped the show because we would have known the motivations of some of the characters.
While there is definitely some bad in the show, I've mostly enjoyed all of the "present" day stuff. The flashbacks just didn't do it for me though. Luckily I do like the Jedi in this show, probably the best actors in the entire show, and they kind of helped bolster what was otherwise a spotty story in this episode.

Sol: a vergence can create life, like what we see on this planet all around us (as they sit in a lush forest full of weird animals)
Tatooine: where’s all this life that was supposed to happen?

From the clip I saw on Twitter, she looked like she was using her magic to dissolve a kid, when Sol killed her.
Sol, the only character with any likeable traits, defends a child. . .that makes him bad.
Who was Headland an assistant to, again?

somwthing to do with The Kinights of Ren
So he isn't a Knight of Ren

Sure. B/c it was impossible for him to force hold both kids.
Sol’s actions in this episode made no sense whatsoever, multiple times.
