Episodes 5 and 6 were great and probably the back bone of the season. I understand the need for episode 7 but god damnit I did not want to relive episode 3.
Epsiode 8 better be at least an 1 hr long episode tying up Qimir snd Sols relationship with more Vernestra Rhow and somwthing to do with The Kinights of Ren to get me excited for season 2.
Glad I watched the Season though, good content, not great but good and maybe season 2 will be bad arse.
Lastly, kinda got goose bumps when Indara refered to Bendok being lifeless due to a Hyperspace Disaster which makes me think about The High Republic stories and the Nihil.
I am ready for The Skeleton Crew, when does that come up? Its basically all thats left of their lineup right? Meaning new shows and seasons will be announced at some point.

Question - was it a good ideal to make a Wookiie a Jedi?

Predictably, the Jedi’s “big secret” was a nothing burger. Self-inflicted tragedy by the witches.

The show always delivers the suck.
Writing, acting, and production always manage to be worse than imaginable.

Would you rather a wild wookie with uncontrolled use of the force?

Star Wars fans are rarely starved for good content these days. That's especially true in 2024, which has already seen huge announcements like the Jon Favreau-directed The Mandalorian & Grogu movie and the confirmation of Ahsoka: Season 2. And with The Acolyte now out, it's clear that there are still plenty of stories to tell in a galaxy far, far away.
From scoundrels to Jedi masters to bounty hunters, we've cooked up a list featuring all the upcoming Star Wars TV shows and movies. While some are locked and others are just industry reports that haven't been confirmed by Disney, one thing's for sure - there are passionate plans in the works to give us a lot more of Star Wars, whether it's a story centered on beloved characters or an entirely new cosmic adventure.
Click right through the scruffy-looking slideshow below to see what's coming, and a couple of "maybes" too...
And follow the link if you'd like to find out what else is coming in the realm of Star Wars in 2024.

So 89 dumbasses put in reviews before the show ended?
I’m sure that makes a real big difference to the thousands of reviews that it’ll get.

How in the hell did they spend 180 million dollars on this?

I liked the last 2 episodes.
I did not see Sol murdering Mama. Are the witches dead because Indarra broke the link or did they just grab the girls and bail.
I assume they’re dead because Mae hasn’t mentioned them.
The Parralels being drawn between Sol and Qimir are interesting. Sol wants a padawan but what he really wants is a family. Which is making him over eager to to “protect” the girls.

the attitude behind the creators.
the story.
the writing.
the effects.
the acting.
the characters.
the idea.
the fact that this was given a $180M budget and Kenobi got $90M.
the fact that this was even green-lit.
all of the above.

EVERYTHING IS THE WORST THING EVER!!!!!
Am I doing this right?
It's weird what the internet has done to some people.

Episodes 5 and 6 were great
neaux they were not. characters were literally on pause or frozen when the camera wasn't on them. the fight choreography was absolute garbage.
no way a padawan who isn't even allowed to train with a lightsaber IN THE JEDI TEMPLE ON CORUSCANT is going to duel wield lightsabers and put up a better fight than seven other Jedi Knights and masters.

maybe season 2 will be badass.
there is nothing that happened in season 1 that would make me enthusiastic for a second season of this shite. all a season 2 would do is drag more of the lore into this Sarlacc pit of a show. I hope to God more of this doesn't see the light of day.
I'm glad you like the show, but raise your expectations for "good content". this show's subterranean-level quality makes 'The Room' look like an Oscar Winner.

look, if you genuinely like the show, good for you. Everyone's opinions are different, but raise your expectations for "good content."
there is so much bad in the show, just from a technical and writing view. Then when you compound the deficiencies the show has from a basic story-telling perspective and you try and cram it into a much beloved and revered Universe and Canon as Star Wars, you open up an even bigger can of worms.
People who defend this show remind me of people who defend Joe Biden's mental and physical decline.

Cortosis is from Legends. It's something from SW lore it wasn't made up for the show. I like it's inclusion.
I'm aware. I hate it's inclusion because it has no buildup or explanation to what it is. It's supposed to be ulta-hyper-crazy rare which is why it never showed up or is mentioned ANYWHERE. It has lore-breaking potential for the Skywalker Saga. "why didn't the empire use it for x,y, and z?" type stuff.
also, it shorts lightsabers but Smylo Ren and just easily weld it together?

The Dialog is mostly bad but SW was never known for good dialog.
this is true, but dialogue across the SW universe was always at the VERY least, serviceable. This garbage is literal exposition from character to character.

Vanestra knows more than she's letting on.
Yes, Jedi Master Green Bean knows more than she is letting on but don't expect her knowledge to payoff this season. Willing to bet the scars on Smylo Ren's back are from her shitty purple light whip.
