those are a lot of great looking picture cars, but they earlier poster was correct -- they need to be dirtied up. That is usually done by the on set scenic

the graphic designer is the one that did all of the skins and signage ...

that's a tough place to control traffic and shut down streets

My question is: since the QT mob has already anointed this the epitome of cinematic achievement, if it turns out to be a steaming pile of shite will anyone admit it? With Pacino in the mix, the potential for massive overacting is certainly there. I'm somewhat ambivalent about Tarantino so I'm taking a little more of a wait and see approach.

Pretty sure people were excited for the last Jedi, and we know how this board feels about that one.

They've been shooting Wonder Woman 1984 all around D.C. for the past few weeks, including right next to my neighborhood, and it is so cool seeing all the vintage cars and 80's set designs lining the sidewalks I use everyday. I've never been on or close to a movie set before, but it really is crazy how much detail goes into it.

I remember when they were shooting street scenes for JFK in the quarter. It was interesting seeing the big trucks full of 1960's style advertising signs and stuff.

Ah, the Zombies, 'Time of the Season' surely one of the 60's greatest tunes.

all those cars are WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too shiny. i think that's a problem. those were everyday cars back then and were much grittier. they may need to ask those collectors to dirty-up their vehicles a bit to be more authentic.

You need to go check out California some time. Then you’d realize how silly your observation is compared to reality.

60's were way better for smog. People think smog was the worst later on but it was at its apex in the 50's.

That's because the city of L.A. in their wisdom, to reduce traffic and costs, decided not to pick up trash.

So everyone got a backyard incinerator. Apparently you could burn trash for 7 hours a day.

They would actually close schools on certain days where the air was so black and thick for kids to go outdoors.

The city turned dirty and cars certainly would be grimy.

Trash day:

Relatives of mine who lived in Pasadena in 1964 said you would walk outside and your eyes and lungs would burn the pollution was so bad.
