What?!
“Yeah then there was that time Dad said I had a tiny cock…but he was right…but I was only 10, and he had it in his hand. Things always look smaller in bigger hands…”

want Karl to mentor Gregg and their reign be strong and plentiful. Roman and Tom get a nice pay out to ride off into the sunset. Kendall and shiv I hope blow their money on some start up that blows up in their face
I’m still pulling for a Greg Keyser Soze flashback montage that shows how he won and it was under our noses the entire time.

Wow just watched the episode recap for first time and had no idea Tom and Shiv were English/British or whatever…mind blown.
I was shocked to see that Tom is Uhtred father of Uhtred at the beginning of The Last Kingdom. Quite a different role.

Yea I guess there’s a chance this is all some sort of a devious bait and switch by Madson. I can’t see what the angle would be and think the India numbers and one of his closest coworkers telling them so easily seems like such an obvious plant, but I guess there’s still a chance I’m really confident, though, that I nailed it when I said they’re gonna expose Madson as just as much of a phony as the Roy kids. Kendall and Roman didn’t get punked by Madson. He’s not some outerwordly mastermind who is seeing the board ten chess moves ahead. He’s just as much of a phony as the other folks on this show, and they’re all in this fake grow or die corporate power fight His closest executives are a dick and someone he’s been sexually harassing who I guess is staying on for the money. When he’s not on his home turf in Sweden, he comes off as the flamboyant arse that he is It wouldn’t fit if he was some genius who just pantsed the Roy’s. They’re all gonna go up in a flame of glory but not bc of anyone’s genius but their incompetence
Agreed. I just feel like it would be very out of character for the show to have this sinister Mattson trap with 3 episodes left. Honestly it would feel pretty cheap to me at this point in the show.
It would be like Euron Greyjoy sitting on the iron throne as the show ended.

I 100% believe Mattson would attempt to cook numbers with 50% stock involved in the acquisition. I think he was hoping they wouldn’t find out until just after the sale (and he almost pulled it off).
You have to remember he’s based on these IRL swarmy tech billionaires. It would be truly on brand that he struggles with the schmoozing side of business and tries to blow people away with data to make a deal happen.

Presented as an actual lunatic in the book. Disappointing on screen.

I feel like everyone hates Kendall which leaves me confused. To me, he's the only one of the three siblings who somewhat resemble a human being. He can be a screw up and sometimes lives in a fantasy world. But he mostly seems hopeful and at least has some confidence when it comes to running Waystar
I actually agree with that. I think Kendall has the highest ceiling, but also the lowest floor

Agreed that it would be a pretty mundane cheap trick to have the India thing he a set up. If it were I would at least hope that it wouldn’t be this obvious.

I just wanna say that I'm proud of my boy Connor Roy sticking it to Menckin and Roman and keeping his 1% and not selling low. #Conhead4Life

I can’t even force myself to root for Kendall with that extremely punchable face. I hope Greg steals the power. I noticed on a rewatch of S 1 that he is always the fly on the wall.

His wife didn't want to go to Yemen or where ever the frick it was, so she climbed in that feeble little mind of his and told him to stay in the race.

That's a great point. And they're all weird and awkward AF.

Colin Firth can never be topped though. I love that mini-series so much
Almost started a re-watch of Ripper Street the other day because of Tom. Very underrated show.

I loved the hierarchy of countries and also how little Mencken thought of him that the first offer was the single least desirable country in the world.

- She could’ve been very good on the business end had she followed her Dad’s plan for her to “train” within the company for multiple years. She has enough savvy and intelligence that she could’ve developed that in the business realm.
- She’s desperate for someone to love her. Much like Roman (and Kendall to a degree) she chased her Dad’s potential acceptance and approval. And that’s a crutch for her.
ETA: I don’t see her as a heroine at all. I see her as a woman who is fighting for position but is woefully under tooled because of her own decisions and to a degree the lack of her own Dad putting her in a position to succeed. I actually appreciate that she isn’t anywhere near perfect.
Completely agree. I don't find her the hateful bitch that most people here seem to think. I find her just like all the kids. She so missed any love in her life that she just doesn't know how at all. They all desperately want love and are clueless. Kendall with his kid and ex. He is an awful father and was an awful husband. Shiv had no idea how to be in a relationship. Roman with his weird fetishes and obsessions. Their lack of love from either parent is giant! The sibs stick together to some degree because all they ever had was each other.
All the kids are smart. But all of them are so lazy. Any of them could have been good leaders if they had ever really listened to their dad. He really wanted one of them to step up, but they all refused to do any work and just wanted everything based on their name.
But that scene with Tom. Wow! Just heartbreaking! I think everyone hates her so much, mostly because people like Tom.

Hell yes. Tom and Greg are about the only thing keeping me going at this point. And Roman I guess.
Tom and Greg are funny. Roman is entertaining, but nowhere near likeable. I think he's about as creepy as hell and just kind of wormy. I don't understand how people seem to like him and think he deserves the keys to the car. Truly, none of them do.
I'm team Gerri, Frank, and Karl. They've done all the hard work all the years. They put up with all the shite. They earned it.

I wanna love Roman but he’s so over the top I can’t take him seriously. Nobody acts like that. Especially during Gerry and the other girl.
His character is obviously on the spectrum

That ridiculous professor he considers his advisor cracks me up.
"A little car bomby"
That guy literally has no life skills. He is the absolute failure of the entire bunch.
