That ridiculous professor he considers his advisor cracks me up.

I had forgotten about him until he showed up in the last episode, such a great tertiary character.

Wait, people think Tom is likable?

The actor is really good and he has some funny scenes with Greg, but I think Tom is one of the least likable characters on the show

I agree with you on this. Tom is a good TV character but a sleezy, slimy human being. He loves to treat Greg like shite because it's the only time he gets to exert control and power over anyone.

Tom is likely a shitty person but not because of how he treats Greg. They might be the only two people that like each other on the entire show.

You're right to say to some degree.. But it amazes me how fast they will frick each other over at the first opportunity.. They're all horrible but I'm Team Kendal in regards to who is more qualified to be CEO. Out of those 3

I think I'm firmly team Ken as well. It's sure not Shiv and was really disappointed in Roman not going on stage with him regarding Living+ a couple episodes ago.

Ken was being groomed to step up from the start of the show and despite some of his flaws, he has more of what it would take to run the company compared to the other Roys. I think we see him morph more into his father by the end of the show.

Everyone is going to be disappointed when Elon Musk turns up to be the real buyer in the finale.

I think Mattson was threatening Kendall when he said "your numbers are gay". could be a VERY subtle way of letting on that he knows about the waiter. Those two could be in a mexican standoff.

Where does it go when the angry old people are gone? GenX and Millenials are npt going to be sitting at home watching Fox News in their retirement.

This is where I disagree with him. Every generation gets set in "their" ways as they get older. GenX/millennials in their old age will be bitching about the newer generations. And they will watch news channels that cater to that viewpoint. So there will always be a market for old, angry people because that demographic is continuously reloaded.

I do not, never have, and never see myself consuming cable news on any position on the political spectrum. I think there is just a different way at least the millennial generation where I'm classified consumes their preferred flavor of opinion "journalism" and I don't think it will be the same way our predecessors (Gen X and older) did.

Told myself I'd never post during the show but I just have to say I love how their handling politics and the election. No propaganda, no woke whatever, just sort of vague references to show the different affiliations of the characters. The least political show right now is the show actually doing a politics and election show tonight

I think it's clear on this show the conservative side is racist, violent, and disastrous for America while Shiv's team is reasoned and good for America. But I get your point. The episode is well written and very engaging but let's not pretend it's not subtly taking a viewpoint.

Anyone else think they didn’t develop this political storyline enough to make such a crucial episode around it? I found myself confused as hell the whole time, but maybe that was just me

Normally I would have agreed with this, but they went hard with the Republicans being evil racists who will destroy the country with tonights episode.

Eh. Logan’s relationship with Menken has been an overarching theme for a couple of seasons. Politics has always been a part, even if they’ve done a good job of playing both sides of the fence. Connor’s hilarious bid for President has been an ongoing storyline. Of course they were going to cover the election.

I got distracted and missed a lot so I'll have rewatch, but it did seem to go a little deeper as the episode went on

I wouldn't say that their anti-conservative lean was vague, but it wasn't in-your-face offensive like most shows these days. Just enough let you get a peak at their agenda but nowhere near enough to detract from the plot and turn you off from the show. That's the best you can ask for these days. Another fantastic episode. I was glued to the TV for the entirety.

The suspense when Kendall is outside talking on the phone, and then to Greg, knowing that Shiv was about to be royally fricked. Pump it in my veins.
