Agreed.

That said, let's see if they in fact do continue on the path that seems like a twist on The Color of Money.

Not the best episode, but at least we finally get some conflict.

The non-binary shite with Zero is so tiresome. The “they them” shite is weird enough, but then we get the conversation about how he’s part like his mom and part like his dad and he compares that to her being “masc” and “fem.” And one episode we get her in a short skirt and knee socks, and the next she’s dressed like a homeless man. We get it, she’s non-binary and doesn’t fit inside some box, bro. It just feels so intentional and such a focal point for this show for whatever reason.

I also call bullshite that she’s a virgin. The description for the episode said something like “Santi learns a painful lesson,” and when it was clear he and Zero were gonna frick for a split second I wondered if she really would be a trans situation because of all the comments in this thread.

I figured Mitts and Elena would get together. Maybe that will make me hate her less.

It’s a little ridiculous that Pryce and Zero didn’t plan their story out better in case Santi asks questions. Although he got a little too pissed about it IMO. Their explanation actually made sense and was basically the truth. And the caddie definitely gets paid so I don’t see the big deal.

Anybody know how many episodes are supposed to be in this season? I believe this was episode 6. Wondering how much time they have to resolve this new conflict and create some new drama.

The shite with Pryce and his son and the FT call with his ex wife was sort of heartbreaking. I bet for people who have lost a kid that shite hit pretty hard.

Also (for the comedy talk on the previous page), I chuckled here and there during this episode. Almost everything Mitts says is funny to me.

Santi is still a pretty unlikeable a-hole. Opening scene:
Pryce: hey I’m going to get some waters, y’all want some?
Zero and Santi: *flips him off

Didnt think Santi would find out about Zero being paid with 4(?) episodes left in the season.

Another good episode but Zero's caddy outfits are ridiculous

After last nights episode I think I'll probably finish this season later down the road, or probably not ever. It's just so bad. It's like they are trying to throw in as many hot topic words as possible in every single episode. It's like every line Zero says has to have cultural appropriation, white guilt, pronouns, etc. It's relentless.

The funniest part of the entire series was the ending to the last episode. I was legit laughing at how bad it was. "WAIT WAIT WAIT MOTHER frickER YOU ARE PAYING HER TO TALK TO ME????? WTF IS THIS???" Dude chill out. The most dramatic kid over the most non dramatic stuff. So Pryce can pay your mom 100k, but your caddie has to work for free? Ok buddy time for you to go to your room. "I CAN DO THIS WITHOUT YALL!!" Actually you couldn't without Pryce. He's paying for your travel, living expenses, clubs, caddy, paying your mom. You'd still be sneaking on to driving ranges if it wasn't for him.

I’ve been back and forth on this show but I think it kind of sucks. Maron is the only one worth watching.

Hopefully that was the last episode and none of them have to see each other again. And I don’t force myself to painfully try to get through another episode.

Mitts and the occasional heart felt scenes with Pryce are about the only redeeming qualities.

As long as we are complaining… why is Elena so hung up on getting offended on her IDEA of investing in helium?

Just invest in it. People do that shite every day. It is not a special thing and you did not even earn the investment capital. It was given to you as a bribe, effectively. Why is this her way of aggressively demonstrating her intellect or a litmus test to see if she should be civil to someone? It’s bizarre.

Also… Santi needs to take a hard L in his life to make him a character to care about. If this were real life, after telling Zero and Pryce that he can do it all himself, his mother would roll up in her new $100k Porsche, Zero would announce she’s pregnant a few weeks later, and Santi would have to figure out what to do now that he ran off Pryce. Golf your way out of that shite.

I feel like we are watching different shows haha the show ive watched is Pryce trying his best to turn his life around and rolling with the punches despite adversity being constantly thrown at him with the pronoun chick being thrown in the middle and the kid being uncoachable.

I must've missed the part where they tried to show the pronoun chick/mom as being right and the straight guys being wrong.

The chick wit the pronouns is a dropout nomadic hipster it's not like shes being portrayed as the one with all the answers that has her life put together
