Honestly I feel like this show would have just been better with a pryce redemption arc tin cup style. Santi is annoying, his mom is annoying, and god gawd don’t get me started on zero. This would have been 10x better with Wilson and maron on the road doing dirtbag shite and playing local tourneys making his way back on tour.

Wouldve needed a different writer but that is a much more fun premise.

In Stick all of the characters in the Stick Pryce inner circle are awful and unlikable. So all of the villains and strife are inside the core character group. Perhaps when the Timothy Olyphant character joins the show as the villain they will all rally around each other and join forces. But they still suck as characters and I am not sure the show can overcome that.
This last episode (E7) gives me some hope. The opening with Pryce (no spoilers) is excellent and gets a lot of yes from me.
The acting is still pretty bad overall - especially Santi imo - but if the show continues, maybe he does as well.
I really hope this becomes a Parks and Rec situation where the first season is not the best, but takes off from there. Disclaimer: I'm a huge PnR fan.
Olyphant coming in could be the spark the show needs. Bring Goggins with him too.

I’m digging the show so far, but it’s not overly good IMO. But it’s definitely good enough to keep my attention. As I’ve said, I agree with others that my biggest gripe is the lack of likable characters. But whatever, I had a low bar for the show anyway.
This past episode’s opening was brutal though. I can’t imagine ever losing a child, especially a really young one. But this episode was solid though, and was believable in how things got back on track a bit. My biggest complaint with it was that it felt like it was about ten minutes long. When it ended I audibly said “was that 30 minutes already?”
I’m interested in seeing where it goes, and I’ll watch as long as they churn out episodes since it’s not some big time commitment. And I suspect that this may end up being a success story for Pryce anyway, as he’s the main character IMO instead of Santi.
The mom and Zero can still kick rocks though. They both suck bigly.

Show is pretty good. Not sure what is going on with Zero. Seems like a dude but are we having binary actors play non-binary characters now? Thats confusing. The character sucks regardless of that issue

As an older father with a younger son these 5 minutes hit hard for me. Everyone with kids should keep this handy and rewatch as needed to remind themselves just how precious life is and the bumps and curves that it throws us are surmountable.

Yeah, started this show thinking I'd just get some laughs. Then I'm sitting on the couch tearing up followed by my ten year old asking why I'm randomly giving him hugs and telling him I love him
. Some of the show is just too forced (Santi and Stick's back and forth, the Mom's stuff, and definitely the Zero woke stuff). At least the woke stuff isn't fully just trying to push an agenda, it's the butt of jokes. But at the very least it's carrying me to watch the next episode.

We finally got a solid episode all the way through. They fooled me when they had the come apart in the restaurant and it was part of the hustle.
