I just started re-watching it again and i would recommend it to anybody who is a fan of this show. Knowing how it ends, re-watching it makes episodes 1-4 waaaaay better. You pick up on so many things that you had no idea would be significant later on. The last 3 episodes are truly fantastic. I started watching this show on a split second thought and i am glad i did. I hope this show gets the recognition it deserves.

Binged it this weekend with my wife. We loved it. Interesting reflection on the importance of art in humanity’s survival.

So we’ll done. Love the casting in Hamlet at the end

Tyler- Hamlet (son)
Elizabeth - Gertrude (mom)
Clark - Claudius (uncle)

Clever convergence of storylines.

HBO has consistently offered quality shows that's head and shoulders above the competition. I love their limited series. Mare of Easttown. The Night Of. Chernobyl. And now Station Eleven.

I'm down to Youtube TV, Netflix, and HBO Max. And HBO Max is without a doubt the last service I'll ever give up.

I watched the whole thing and enjoyed it quite much. Not a big fan of the blonde girl from "Halt and Catch Fire" but the show as a whole was intriguing post-apocalyptic stuff.

Not great but worth watching, IMO.

I'm rewatching while my wife watches for the first time....a few things I missed the first time...

When Jeevan goes to the apartment at the other end of the hallway and finds the HAM radio, the piece of music (La Campanella) on the piano is the same one that Sarah was playing on the keytar when she met Kirsten. Someone wrote "Its Impossible" on the cover page.

The first town we see the Traveling Symphony arrive at is St. Deborah by the Water. It was named after the crazy Doctor in Ep 9. She said her real name is Deborah and when Jeevan first talked to them on the HAM radio, they said they were near the water.

Also, the orphan's name from the birthing center is Alexandra. She's Alex...and the "David" that Rose was waiting for was Tyler. He willingly gave up Alex back then but 20 yrs later tried to get her to join him.

I just finished my second watch. I picked up SO much more the 2nd time around. I'll probably give it a 3rd watch in the not-too-distant future.

Yeah I picked up way more about the parallels and connections between Tyler and Kirsten. Not just their connections with Arthur and Station Eleven. At the birthing center, Jeevan describes Kirsten as "just someone I ended up with." A few minutes later, when Jeevan asks Rose who she's waiting for, she says "just someone I ended up with." Like you said, it turned out that Dave is actually Tyler. Both young Kirsten and young Tyler ended up with adult companions post-pan, but then lost them. And young Tyler almost left with baby Alex. Alex somehow ends up with the Travelling Symphony (I don't remember how), and young Kirsten is seen babysitting Alex and losing her because she was too absorbed by her book. This all explains why adult Kirsten was so protective of adult Alex, and why the Prophet was trying to lure Alex away, although I'm not sure if it was ever established that he knew Alex was the same person as Rose's baby.

Finished it with the wife tonight, we both looked at each other and laughed when we saw each of us were crying like bitches lol. Really good show that starts kind of slow but the last 4 or 5 episodes just keep piling on and really hit a crescendo at the finale. Really good watch.

I’ve never done a proper rewatch and I probably should. I have just watched episode 1 and 7 multiple times because they’re my favorites.

I can't believe this show didn't win any major awards.

Station Eleven HBOMAX
I'm 8 episodes into this show. -- my bump has substance though...

I did a TD/Google to see what you guys thought and lo and behold TS started a thread 2 years ago.

I am not reading the spoilers, but it really made me laugh that my baw TS started this.
