It's an awe-inspiring schedule overall, and the best home slate I think LSU has ever had.

Wins will be tough to come by, though. And not just for us, for everybody. The SEC could be a bloodbath.

If anyone mentions penalties, my God, the missed face-mask on Higgins's long TD pass takes the cake.
This Rams fan says a big "thank you!" to the Tigers for these guys. They were instrumental in the victory!

And Joe Burrow and Ja'Marr Chase will be back, they are so good, scared the life out of me. Whew!

As a lifelong Rams fan, I sure hope not.

But a Bengals win would not surprise me. They are a very good team with an ace QB and #1 WR.
Eh, Whitworth was well before his time.

IIRC, he walked on the LSU campus the same year JJ was born.
Yeah, but we just needed a win, and we got it.

Even with the recent struggles, it's been a good season so far, no reason to give up on the coach or the team, IMO.

Maybe, but when is anyone fully healthy this time of year?
Stopped the bleeding, that's good enough for now.
About the Saints vs Rams call in 2018:

As a Rams fan, I agree that the Saints got completely hosed there. That's why I did not celebrate the NFC title and I did not care whether we won or lost that Super Bowl vs New England.

Yes, every game has blown calls and I'm sure if we watched the whole game on tape we'd see lots of missed ones, including ones that helped the Saints. But basically, IMO, the missed PI was egregious and it helped decide the game. It was in a different class of missed call. It spoiled that game for me.

IMO, the Rams were not the deserving NFC champion, the Saints deserved to win that game.

That said, if I was a Rams player like Whitworth I would probably feel different and so I have no problem with his POV he expressed then. I just do not share it.

This Super Bowl is huge for LSU, high-profile guys on both teams.

And it couldn't come at a better time, with last-minute recruiting decisions being made.

Geaux Tigers!

Which Rams are we talking about? The LA Rams before 1995, the St. Louis Ram until 2016, or the bandwagon fans Rams since 2016?

Good question!

I've been a Rams fan since 1973. Have never lived anywhere near Los Angeles or St Louis, just fell in love with the uniform when I was 8 years old. So my fandom has nothing to do with the city, though I do prefer LA as their natural home, IMO.

Yeah I am kinda torn but I gotta go with Burrow, Chase, and Shelvin. I bet all the recruits were watching the Bengals this weekend. If Burrow and company wins the Superbowl in his 2nd year with the Bengals after they were 2-14 in 2019 it would be simply amazing.

I understand why most Tigers fans are pulling for the Bengals. Burrow is our Golden Boy and because he and Chase are more recent, a Bengals win is much more high-profile for the Tigers, helps with recruiting.

Still .... Go Whitworth, Go OBJ! Go Rams! :)
It took me 17 years to pay off my college loans, but I paid them off.

So unless a Biden plan gives me a refund to the amount that he is forgiving loans now, then I say hell no to loan forgiveness.

I watched the whole thing and enjoyed it quite much. Not a big fan of the blonde girl from "Halt and Catch Fire" but the show as a whole was intriguing post-apocalyptic stuff.

Not great but worth watching, IMO.
Thanks for the tip!

Have been on the fence about this.
As a Rams fan, I sure hope not!

I hope Burrow and Chase play epically well, but the Rams win anyway!

Go OBJ! Go Whitworth!

Go Rams!

Yes, Cowboys fandom starts as you move to the western side of north Louisiana, Shreveport is Cowboys territory, but not Monroe.
I'm a life-long Rams fan, and also a Tigers fan of course.

Been rooting for Burrow and Chase throughout the season and playoffs.

But on February 13 it is Whitworth and OBJ all the way!

Go Rams! Go Tigers!

As someone associated with Southern, I appreciate that LSU is willing to give us some exposure and $$$ by playing this game. I will definitely be in attendance to support my Jaguars but as always will otherwise cheer on LSU vs their opponents as well.

Great for Baton Rouge all around, IMO. :nana:
FWIW, Burrow was again awarded a helmet sticker by CFF this morning - and this time ESPN did have an LSU helmet on the set, lol.
