I haven’t watched a Star Trek show since I gave up on Enterprise midway through the first season. By all accounts, I haven’t missed anything.

All objectively very popular IPs, but purposely neutered and subverted for the modern day audience. You can’t convince me this isn’t done with intent. They want to make their money off of existing properties while at the same time destroying those same properties.
