IDK but the leak states in the end he is heading north of the wall with Tormund, ghost et al, I assume to live with the Wildlings. As Tormund foreshadowed earlier this season.

This is going to be so damn terrible. Why can’t HBO end a damn series the appropriate way?

Since they have to rebuild King’s Landing anyway I guess it’s easy to toss in a few ramps.

Because nobody involved wanted to finish it properly. GRRM either won't finish his books or DD didn't want them released. And DD wanted to finish the series quick so they can move on to other projects. We just have to hope the spin offs have good people involved who actually care about the series from start to finish.

I don’t actually hate everything I read, but what I do dislike, I strongly dislike.

It’s going to be tough to sell Bran as King. Who, other than maybe Tyrion, would advocate for that. Hell, how do we decide who gets to vote?

Why is there a nights watch? The white walkers are gone and the wall was destroyed. Both were created by/with the children, and they’re gone as well.

Perfectly fine with Jon killing Dany, Arya sailing away, and Sansa ruling Winterfell.

I’m fine with those too. Jon needs to rule

Yep. I don't mind most of that ending. Jon's is dumb if that's how it plays out.

I'll be livid if that's what they do to Bran. They'll have written one of the most important and pivotal characters in the show into a worthless piece of bait.

The leaks for episode 5 were dead nuts on.

i know. and I've been dying a slow death since

I was the hype master for the Spanish leaks. It was really hard as each Bell leak came true and I was sitting there not able to tell my wife Dany was about to go crazy. Just had to hold it in and let the one I love be in pain.

I just go back and think about the big reveal that Jon was Targaryen and how big of a letdown everything has been since then.

Back in season 1 Jon had been lamenting how he will never know his mother. He knew he was looked down upon because he was a bastard. Now he finally finds out his true parentage and that he’s not a bastard and we don’t get to see his true feelings on it other than “She’s my Queen” and “I don’t want it”. They didn’t even show us Arya and Sansa’s initial reactions to it. What a massive waste of a character.

And what’s annoying is there are plenty of people that want zero criticism of the show whatsoever. They will defend this finale as much as possible too. And if you do complain, it just gets summed up to “you’re just melting because your fan boy theories were false”.

We don't even have a conversation that lets us know how jon feels about this. I've enjoyed season 8 for what it is, but this is just insane to me

This is inexcusable. I waited over two years to see the many reactions to that truth and I got Jon and Dany’s rushed ones.

Jon's character has been incredibly disappointing this season.

Ever since they found out he was a King he’s done literally nothing of note.

Everything the writers have done this season is a let down.

I guess Jamie holding Cersei when they die fulfills the prophecy Maggie the Frog told her that she would die to her younger brother and Jamie is younger.

Still not sure how the comet and the prince that was promised is involved. Jon technically is King and unless their unborn child survives it would be the only prince left. At least with a claim to the Iron Throne. Bran is no prince.

And what was the purpose of bringing Jon back from the dead when the Night Watch killed him?

Not to mention Edmure Tully should no longer be in a dungeon and should have some role now as he would be the Lord of Riverrun.
