Speaking of The Sandlot, Green Onions by Booker T and the MG's when they have the standoff with the preppy baseball team is another great one

Another good one is Rebel Rouser during the running scene in Forrest Gump.

Just about any movie made by John Hughes did a good job with the soundtrack. He had a knack for this IMO.

i love the use of little green bag as intro to that movie as well as the dick dale song for the opening of pulp fiction.

I always like the opening of "Killing Zoe" . It's called "GO!"

I have never listened to it in any other context than the movie but I find the opening song from "Blade" to be downright hypnotic.

One that was written for the movie: Flying Birds

Also from Ghost Dog: Cold Lampin w/Flavor

Another great one for the scene is "Strange" by Grace Jones in Frantic

Portishead - Glory Box from "B. Monkey"

"don't want to miss a thing" by Aerosmith in Armageddon. I know. I know. But I like it.

Tiny dancer from almost famous and bittersweet Symphony and colorblind from cruel intentions get my vote.

Another great scene was from goodfellas when they were walking in thru the back of the night club, I think the song was then he kissed me.

Lust for Life - Iggy Pop, Trainspotting

Lou Reed has the best song on the soundtrack though
