I’m an equal opportunity hater. Wasn’t in love with The Odyssey, but I thought it was pretty good for the most part. This Spider-Man, I just don’t have the usual excitement for. Don’t lump everyone into the category of Odyssey fan-boy baw.

Think it’s dipped from 93% initially as more reviews roll in. Still looks solid.

I rewatched No Way Home last night. It was really fun. My only complaint was the run time, but they covered a ton of ground with it. It’s not only a fun comic book movie, but there’s a ton of character development and payoff along the way. The setup is a little silly, but it’s worth it for the ride.
I have faith that this movie can be good, far more faith than I have for virtually any other property in Disney/Marvel/Star Wars.

No way Home absolutely was a blast. If I had an issue, it may have been how Doctor Strange was careless in administrating Peters wishes. No way should he have gone down that road without specifically nailing down exactly what needed to happen. Of course the spell had to be made so that the movie could happen, but it stretches credulity, even in that world, that Doctor Strange wouldn’t just say Stop! We need to figure this out before I do the next step.
Call it a minor criticism all you want, I think it takes away from a near perfect movie to the low 90%.
