because this movie was fantastic. I’ve never seen the original naked gun movies, but I loved this one!

Go ahead and grab Airplane! while you’re at it.

The trailer looked good. Liam seems perfect for the role. It might just work!

Some of the clips I’ve seen made me laugh… And the fact that it’s Neeson makes it even funnier.

Good. I’m ready for silly arse comedies to make a comeback.

I haven't been in a movie theatre with the entire audience laughing their arse off in a long time.

Been years.

Watched the original with my 8y/o son when I saw the reboot was coming. He loved it. We have been eagerly awaiting the release of this film.
I can honestly say this was the outrageously stupid thing I’ve seen on film in some time, maybe ever. It was vulgar. It blatantly ripped off themes, scenes, and plot lines from other successful franchises, including the original Naked Gun.
It was exactly what we both wanted. We both loved it. I laughed way more than him. Some of the jokes were way over his head. The thermal binocular scene was fantastic.
To be clear: This is not a good film, but it’s exactly what I wanted out of a naked gun reboot.

This. The movie is really funny. I could identify a lot of the gags from random Family Guy episodes, as well as a lot of intentional parodies of scenes from various movies from the last 30 years. The thermal binoculars scene being straight out of Austin Powers, the plot being borrowed from Kingsman, but works. It's a really funny movie, and that's exactly what I wanted it to be.

It's pretty funny. I like the coffee gag going on throughout the movie.

Just finished it, thoroughly enjoyed the movie and was exactly what I wanted out of a Naked Gun movie.

I liked it. I was prepared to be let down and I wasn't.

felt the same way. watched it this morning.

There were plenty of silly scenes to enjoy.

I always enjoy the very subtle funny things in movies like this.

Like when he arrived to the car wreck and went to go pick up the matchbox as evidence. He put a rubber glove on his left hand, like you would normally do to pick up evidence, but then casually wiped his nose with his hand with the rubber glove, then picked up the evidence with this right hand that had no glove on it.
It's the little things that i find enjoyment in.

Wouldn’t say I have high hopes for it, but will definitely watch it here soon. Leslie Nielsen is/was one of my favorite comedic actors. Hoping Liam Neeson can fill his shoes and do more comedic roles going forward. Been pretty stale imo since Taken, practically playing the same character in every movie. Feels like he’s got the chops for comedy.
