Only if you're going to make his heterosexuality a talking point post-film. We know that James Bond is a ladies man because he's on-film flirting and bedding women. If you're going to include "cocksman" in Q's post-film biography, you need to have some evidence of him chasing women in the actual movies.

This a series that was tap dancing around incest back in the 70's and 80's. Having a gay character wouldn't be terrible. But, other than the prequels, this series hasn't been about people jumping into bed with each other. If you introduce sex for the point of showing that someone's gay, you're fricking up.

He didn’t think they would get a chance to make a sequel, which is why ANH is essentially a standalone movie.

Yoda says that "there is another". They don't flat out say that they're brother and sister, but we're led to believe that there is another Skywalker or at least another possible Jedi. Since the film ends with Vader revealing that he was a secret dad, Leia being a secret sister or Jedi was a fan theory.
