You sound fun. Are we supposed to argue you into liking it? What are you going for here?

Like it. Don't like it. Who gives a shite?

I've been rewatching it, in anticipation of the final season. There's so much funny shite I forgot about -- like just about every line uttered by Jared.

Maybe he needs to PIVOT to a different show.

If after a few episodes you don't like it...PIVOT.

Jared is probably the best character on the show. Then Russ.

the little bits that reveal his backstory are easily the best parts of the show

I think a testament to how good the show has been is that I hate the main character and I still love the show. The only other show I can think of that was similar was How I Met Your Mother. Richard and Ted were made for each other.

"I know what it's like to only be able to save half your family."

That line had me in tears... God they need a spinoff series with just Jared's history

Well, as a product of forced adoption, I can tell you there are consequences.

They really have done a fantastic job with all of the writing surrounding that character. When he said that Dinesh calls him "retarded Frankenstein" and Gilfoyle calls him "effeminate K.D. Lang", I lost it.

Just think about that. The writers had to look at that actor, make brutal jokes about his appearance, then HE had to deliver the jokes about his appearance himself and do it in a way that makes us all laugh. And he's been doing it since the first season when he said that his uncle used to say that he looked like someone starved a virgin to death.

Zach Woods is a goddamned treasure.

It's a good show, but it relies far, far too much on the OMG Great idea, OH NO EVERYTHING FAILED, oh we dragged it back to average.

Not just that episode. The first SEASON. They didn't know if they were going to be renewed or not when they made it. When you think about it in that context, the first season had to be able to stand alone if they got canceled. You realize Judge just said "frick it" and made the whole thing a setup for one epic dick joke.

Weird anecdote time.

I was talking about Silicon Valley with a co-worker and she volunteered how sexy she found ZW.

After I picked my jaw up off the floor I thought "Wow. Maybe the guy really does frick."
