My mom and her boyfriend took my sister and me to the drive in to see Heavy Metal.

quote:

My Grandfather built them at the Consolidated Vultee plant over by the UNO Lakefront Arena

Same. He told me at one point he was installing the blisters, then at another point he was putting bulkheads in. I wish I had asked more about his time with Consolidated Vultee and those planes.
DoD Guidance

See pg 18, 19, 22 to see that the definitions for the DoD's policy and the Army's required annual training references DSM-5 American Psychiatric Association’s Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders: Fifth Edition.

So, a mental illness?
The only hill left, in what's left of Ft. McClellan, is Trench Hill. Not too long, but pretty steep.

Yep, the memo goes on to say,
“ Service members are considered fully vaccinated two weeks after completing the second dose of a two-dose CO VID-19 vaccine or two weeks after receiving a single dose of a one-dose vaccine. Those with previous COVID-19 infection are not considered fully vaccinated.”

My next drill is in a few weeks. We got a heads up that ‘vaccinations’ are one of the important items on our agenda. Don’t know if that mean they will be briefing us on the vaccinations, or administering them. Hope to find out more this week. If the are administering them, I’m probably going to search out the J&J. However, few places have it, and most state that you don’t get a choice. What’s up with that?

DoD Covid Vaccine Memo 24Aug21

Here’s a link to the memorandum that was signed on the 24th.
Is it just me, or does the brand name sound an awful lot like comorbidity?
It's simple... Those liberals in power do it for the power. The rank and file liberals just want everyone else to be as miserable as they are.

When everyone is equally miserable, they will have finally achieved equality.
Bingo. As of now, the military is really pushing the vax, but can't mandate it. The second it receives FDA Approval, it will be a mandatory injection for the DoD.
That’s awesome! A few friends, here in the estates, reported power around 3. I’m hoping we’ll be back soon.
Friends in Spanish Fort are reporting power back on. Just up and down the street from me. Knock on wood...
Also in Spanish Fort. Lost power @ 12:30, last night. My phone says winds are around 50. Very steady with some occasional gusts. I guess it’s going to get a little worse before it gets better.
Ah, a fellow Spanish Fortian. Keep us posted on the rainfall totals.
I live in Baldwin County. Total population of 223,234 and 174 confirmed cases. That’s 0.078% of the population. For those who argue for more testing, multiply that by 10, and you still at a fraction of 1% of the population confirmed (largest county in the state by area). There are folks on Nextdoor crying that ‘it’s too soon!!!!’ I don’t get it?!?
I have been wearing Saucony Kinvara’s for about 5 years. I usually behind the second to latest model and save $$$.
Entered my info about an hour after the form went live. Finally got a date of April 30, this morning.
Every citizen should have a healthy skepticism\distrust of government. Why do you think the founding fathers installed checks and balances? We should critique every government action.
Fusion 360 has a hobbyist license (although I think they changed some things up). I'm trying to lear Fusion 360 to model guitar bodies and necks. It's a natural progression, 3d printer>CNC>Guitar parts, right?
I got my first printer in order to build my first CNC machine. That was my primary goal. I used it to generate parts to modify and improve the cheap printer. With the improved printer, I printed parts for the small CNC. Now, I'm using my printers and small CNC machine to build a larger CNC. It's a whole thing, now...
There's also places like Thingiverse that let you browse and download models for printing. Just check the licenses if you plan on doing anything commercial. Also, it's not like buying an HP laserjet, where you open a document and print. You'll need a 'slicer' to orient\manipulate the model for your printing preferences. There's also the need to 'tune' your printer, so it will print well (tram the bed, tune extrusion rates, temps, speeds\feeds, etc...). You also need to find the right material for your purpose. PLA is 'easy' to print, but doesn't handle high temps well. PETG is a little trickier to print, handles higher temps, but might be more brittle. ABS is strong, high temp, but gives off fumes when printing. These are are generalizations, of course. It can still be a fun hobby, if you know that you'll spend time getting each print job set up.

Edit: If you need to reproduce a hard-to-find part for something that's broken, Thigiverse is a good place to look. I found a model for my Whirly Pop popcorn gears, when the original plastic gears broke. I was surprised that someone had actually created those for printing. I've also 'dabbled' in modeling in Tinker CAD (free). I was able to make a few simple items that I needed around the house.
