It's always been woke and liberal, but that should be expected considering its the South side of Chicago. But they never took themselves too seriously with it, and it was usually still funny. The last couple of episodes have been pretty unbearably woke, to the point it's unfunny and preachy.

I gave up a couple seasons ago. The show is about poor white trash. So yeah the wokeness is not realistic at all and way overdone.

I have tried to keep watching it because I know its the last year and I have watched it from the beginning but this year is just purely unwatchable. The gay narative is being pushed too hard for my old arse to just sit there and watch it.

I have never understood the interest in this show lol, idk every character annoyed tf out of me in season one so I stopped it. I know a lot of people love it though, not sure why.

I can understand that, wanting to finish it out after watching it for like 5 years or however long its been on. The absurdity of the level of fricked up that I saw in season 1 just made me tune out lol but I've seen the actors/actesses in other stuff and they seem like quality actors.
