One more day people.
I already started a rewatch from season 1. I was going to rewatch after this episode but couldn’t wait.
Biggest thing I noticed was how much Dylan G gained weight between seasons.
And it’s wild to watch the first few episodes of season 1 when it’s mostly typical corporate drama that they’re dealing with day to day. I guess we jump in when Petey disappears and Helly enters which kicks everything off.
Crazy to think they toiled away without drama for 2-3 years before this

She bailed as soon as Devon said she was going to call Cobel. Reghabi isn’t rolling the dice on her own safety, and Devon spooked her (after basically telling her “you aren’t in charge anymore” also). Bailing was perfectly rational. It was an act of self-preservation.
calling cobel is what doesn't make sense. Davon should hate her for lying to her about helping with her child. Cobel lied to her to spy them for Lumon, why on earth is that her first thought to call her?

because her brother is seemingly dying from a Lumon thing. who else can she really go to?

hear the person out that her brother trusted to do it, or go to the hospital. idk. Any number of things than call the one person she knows to be untrustworthy and the lady is saying don't call cobal.
i get they had to move the plot along so whatever, it doesn't explain why once they meet with Cobel they don't question a thing she says or follow up on Cold Harbor cause outtie mark and Davon have no idea what in the world she is talking about.
I am probably out after Thursday but too pot committed at this point in the season.

Apple hasn’t officially renewed the show for season 3 yet. What are the chances tomorrow is the series finale?

Based on what Devon (who is pretty quick on the uptake...despite marrying Ricken for some reason???) knows, she probably intuits that the institutions/authorities are compromised.

More likely we're just going to have to wait 2 years for S3

I guess, we don’t really know anything about the outside world besides door salesmen hate secerance and trains are filled with mad men cosplayers

That’s all but guaranteed. They had planned eight months for filming season 2 before the strikes and it had eight months of post-production before it aired.
I didn’t think Apple would cancel. Just thinking about the minuscule chance they finish the story they want to tell tomorrow.

quote:You make some good points about the writers' plot choices. Before Reghabi left, I assumed the end game was for Mark to reintegrate and continue working. He would be doing recon on a daily basis, feeding info to Reghabi, and searching for wife. Who knows how long that would take.

OTOH, Devon is the driver for this choice, and she knows nothing about the severed floor. All she knows is that she saw her brother collapse, foam at the mouth, and sleep for a day (or days?) because of Reghabi, and she wants nothing more to do with that. Cobel is the only other person she knows who could help. As it turns out, she and Mark now know that Cold Harbor is related to Gemma, and they wouldn't have known that working with Reghabi.
So I agree it could have gone another way, but it didn't, and I'm OK with it.

Dan has been quoted as saying that season 3 is already partly written.

A few hours away from the drop...
Waiting to see the cliffhanger we will get. I"m assuming it will be Gemma, Helly/na and Mark in the same room or something similar.

Maybe for a waffle party?

Thinking Mark makes it down to the exports floor and as comes into contact with Gema and then Helly/na walks in and he's in between the two and boom, fade to black.

I think I’m most excited to see how Milchick ends the season and solidifies his Emmy win.
