My kid is begging me to go see this. Should a 9 year old go see this?

Yeah it has a huge following. I remember seeing collectible figures and dolls and stuff of the characters and was wondering what it was all about. Did some research and found out about the games. It is an interesting premise and kind of creepy. My nephews love the series so I might check it out with them.

So sad kids these days don't get the privilege of enjoying these things at their local Chuck E. Cheese or Showbiz Pizza.

I remember being 5/6 years old and liking Showbiz Pizza/Chuck E Cheese but also being a little creeped out when sneaking a peak behind the curtain and the animatronics were just there, eyes open.

It wasn't bad. I wouldn't have paid money to see if it wasn't something my kid was interested in though. If you're not some huge Five Nights at Freddy's fan, just wait for it to come out on cable.

It is a fan service movie.
If your kids like FNAF or watched any of the endless youtube FNAF stuff (Game Theory), then they will love this. Mine did.

Our theater was half full. Not bad for the showing time.

I just watched on Peacock with my 10 and 7 year old daughters. They’re fans of the games and dug the movie. It’s the perfect entry level horror flick; it’s just scary enough. The makers hit the mark for the age group intended. Not bad.

My 7 year old girl handled it very well. There’s nothing sexual at all, and most violence is implied or happens off screen. There’s a kidnapping plot that’s a wee bit heavy, but beyond that, it’s not terribly frightening.

It all depends on the kid, I’d say.

I don't see why not. We risked hepatitis diving into the Chuck-E-Cheese balls and boogers with urine pit.

We watched it tonight, and my 10
year old loved it. I didn’t know anything about it other than it was a game people were playing. It’s worth a watch, even going in not knowing anything about the game. IMO it’s fine for 10 year olds, it’s not as violent compared to some PG-13 movies, and I don’t remember anything sexually.

Just got home. Our theater was packed. I knew nothing of the game but really enjoyed the movie more than I thought I would.

Love how this is getting legs. Not my favorite genre, but sounds like it's a fun movie.

I just canceled my Peacock subscription. Guess I'll have to find a free trial.

For those who are into it, this movie was filmed in Covington if I remember correctly. Also Joseph Poliquin is listed in the cast, he's a Baton Rouge guy. So plenty of Louisiana connections in the production of the movie.

Fnaf is like mortal combat for today's kid, except instead of being cool It's hot garbage. Kid's like it because they werent allowed to watch it or play it. The over reacting youtube streamers that raise most instamoms children play the game so they can pretend how scary it is and get views.
