Tom Green is the king of paving the way for other people to get paid.
Basically invented the crazy prank genre right before the jackass era and before the YouTube money explosion
Was doing a podcast long before Rogan and inspired Rogan to start one

Pretty sure it's not from his show but from a movie, but a few weeks ago my 2 year old tried to give me some of his sausage at breakfast and I started saying the "daddy would you like some sausage" line. Now for the last 2 weeks he's been randomly asking me, "daddy would you like some sausage" and cracking himself up. I had almost forgotten about him and his show, I don't even know what made me think of that line

The Billy Bob Buys a Mattress will always be one of my favorites. It's so ridiculous that it cracks me the frick up, especially when he laughs at his own poison ivy joke
Billy Bob Mattress store
boy in the bubble is another great

The most memorable thing to come out of that show for me was a simple website by Phil Giroux, one of Tom's lackeys, that was updated every day with a "Picture of the Day." The pictures were rarely anything noteworthy--just little slices of life, people on sidewalks, the line at Subway, whatever--and they were completely candid. I don't know why but I was obsessed with that site. Checking the new PotD became part of my morning routine every day for like a year.
Anyway the show was what it was. I wouldn't watch it today but I enjoyed it some when I was younger.

Glenn Humplick!
"I'm gonna throw the piggy down the hill"
"Bum is on the cheese, bum is on the cheese"
"Feel your balls and squeeze your balls so you don't get cancer"
Some of my favs was the time when he tried to swim across some lake or river and he said "my body is made up of 70% water so only 30% of me is actually going to have to swim."
and the episode of him in the S.A.M.S.E. Space Age Mobile Smokers Environment

He’s a true pioneer in comedy, pretty much invented the surrealism comedy that’s very popular today.

The slut mobile was my favorite.

This show pretty much inspired me and my friends to do similar pranks in the local mall and film it. Was a good time.

Classic moment in television

This is why I worry about the younger folks. Green just wasn't funny. He did lowbrow shite because he had no imagination. Just assclown bullshite.
We dropped him like we dropped disco. It was quite sudden.
