If you spent as much time watching this movie in theaters as you spend in these thread defending this pile of dog shite, the movie would break all time records.

If I hear good things about the movie, I'll see it in the theater. If I don't, I'll probably Redbox it 6 months from now because I'll want to know how it ties into the rest of the MCU.

If I boycotted every product and service touched by someone who believes differently than myself, I'd have to grow my own food, make my own clothes, and become a hermit. I'm sure thousands of people worked on Captain Marvel. I don't care that one of them is pushing her particular worldview. I don't care enough about what she says for it to bother me. But if you do, boycott away.

ETA: And I'm not trying to be derogatory. If Brie Larson had said she was using all of her Captain Marvel money to support abortion (or something), maybe I would boycott in that case. Depends on what you're passionate about.

Freaking all this. I won't say that there aren't some people that are so batshit crazy that I can't separate them from their craft, but you have to be able to coexist with people who think differently than you. All that said, I've been a little let down by Larson's acting chops since the first trailer dropped. I'm also starting to get some MCU fatigue honestly. I love Marvel and the characters, but Endgame might be a good jumping off point for me.

I haven't seen every MCU movie in theaters. I might not see this one, but it's more about the trailers than what Larson says publicly.

I'd say if like 50% of a cast of something came out and said that, or said "All Proceeds go to Abortion Funds," then yeah maybe. When the exact purpose of a product becomes something I disagree with then that's different.

But someone's personal opinions? She probably does donate to abortion causes and a whole host of things I disagree with. And so do a lot of people.

Thanks for making my decision to absolutely see this in theaters.

You let some random guy's rant on an internet message board be the deciding factor for what movies you see in the theater?

That's strange.

I’ve obviously missed something. What did Larson do to offend you?

I think for a few people in this thread, just Larson being female was enough...

If it bothered someone so much that I did it, I might be willing to pay $50 or whatever to go see it.

This whole fricking thread has been cringe.

Who gives a shite what the count said. I watch movies to see the content, not who ate Brie Larsons a-hole.

I am hoping is a decent installment into the MCU so that we can continue to get wonderful movies such as Infinity War, Avengers 1, Civil War, Winter Soldier, Iron Man, etc.

What a fricking terrible life some of yall live to let some scrawny blonde with a big mouth have yalls panties in a wad.

I am white.

I have zero fricks to give.

I don't have to marry her. I just have to watch a movie where she plays a fictional character.

Yeah, but are you a white male? If so, question.

Why are you not offended? What she said was mean and hurtful, and it impacts all of our lives.
