I read the book last year and loved it. Looking forward to see how the source material translates to the big screen!

Apparently, the buzz on this is really good....good to the point there was speculation it would come out a the end of this year for an Oscar run. (They were looking at it as a Gravity/Arrival type thing)

They should move it to December 6. Two weeks after Wicked 2 and two weeks before Avatar 3. At the end of the day, it will come down to IMAX availability and right now it seems open.

Hoopla might have it. They have more audiobooks than Libby I find.
ETA: My library just had The Martian. You could also ask your library to get it. I have gotten every book I asked them for within a day or two. Never once been told no.

It's definitely not reading, but the end result is the same. Absolutely stellar audiobook btw.
