I did chuckle about that.

Titanic was the first movie I ever twice in a movie theater.

The last 3rd was dogshit. Don't know why this movie gets so much praise.

Nah...the hospital scene is awesome. I do agree that the film went on for far too long. I hate how Nolan shoehorned Two Face into it. He deserves to have his own film, not shoved into the last 10 mins of a movie.

The worst part of the opening is the bus just pulling into the row of other buses without anyone saying anything.
How do you know that no one said anything?

It’s a shame we went from the Nolan Batman movies to the shite we have today.

ruined by the god awful acting from the clowns in Joker's gang.
Time to stop posting.

They were just dumb henchman being used by the Joker. I mean they didn't even know he was there robbing the bank with them. We're not dealing with physicists here.
Its reaching to say that the acting by his henchmen is so bad that it nearly ruins the scene? Really?

I think it's a Nolan problem
Now that you mention it that was pretty bad too. It reminds me of the scene in Waterworld right before they go rescue the little girl from the smokers where the off screen survivors of the floating city are yelling random insults at Costner.

The opening scene is a self admitted ripoff of Heat... Not nearly as good as either major heist sequence in that film, but still good.
And yes, the final 25 minutes if the film are shite and go off the rails...just like the final 25 minutes of Interstellar.... Nolan has a hard time ending some of his bigger films.
Amazingly though the best scene in Dunkirk is the final landing sequence... Of course it makes zero sense why he landed in enemy territory on purpose... But it's still majestic to watch.

I don't think it ruins the movie or anything. I just thought it was silly.

The Prestige is his best film. Hands down. I won't hear arguments. Good Day.

Ehh, I'm not sure that explanation really holds water when Nolan had such a stick up his butt about grounding Batman in reality. I really doubt he said "Hey extras, ham it up! It's a comic book after all!"

You're probably right. And I'm not a comic book fan and have never read one cover to cover.
Just saying I easily looked past the over the top dialogue because comic books seem to have it too.

I don't mind it, it's just something that sticks out more every time I watch. I've seen it at least a dozen times.
