Yea. Very.

Nostalgia props it up, but it holds up really well on its own as an adventure type of film. And it’s certainly got thar Spielberg feel to it.

I’d recommend you watch it immediately, honestly.

I can remember my babysitter taking me and my little sister to see this in the old cinema 2 in Ruston. It is easily one of my favorite movies of all time. The mid 80’s was a terrific time at the movie theatre.

Never saw it in the theater. Was 26, and single, when it came out. Would have been fun to see in a theater.

My grandmother took me to see it at the old Bon Marche mall. Good memories.

I’ve heard they plan to remake it. If that’s true this may be the soulless remake that pushes me over the edge

I know the title but nothing about the movie other than it’s about a group of kids( I think).
