Tara doesn't go for the bulldagger types.

None of the women can shoot for shite, then the gal on the bridge is popping headshots like Annie Oakley. She did say she was a good shot.

Those walkers wandered that bridge forever, then just as Tara gets there, they happen to knock down two tarps that were hanging up and concealing them. What a coincidence.

All the walkers on the bridge are sand covered with no hair except the one "made you think it was Ethan" walker who has clean and colorful clothes and nice dreads. Hmmm.

Can't believe Tara's "humor" lines were left in. So weak. Embarrassing really.

The women group had a good plan and principles. Immediately kill any stranger, and stay hidden. Then they toss it all aside for Tara, who lies to them and offers no benefit to their group. They don't kill her, and way worse, let her go knowing her people have encountered the Saviors. If they really planned to kill her in the woods rather than let her go, that was a stupid arse plan. Just blast her in the head right there in camp.

The acting during the struggle between Tara and Ethan and the bridge walkers was almost as good as a high school play.

The people responsible for this episode should be embarrassed and ashamed.

She was with a hot one and a frumpy fat chick. I think she just takes what she can get. It's the zombie apocalypse. Survival lesbians.

I believe, with little-to-no hyperbole, that last night was the worst episode of the entire series. The writing was putrid, the acting was worse, and everyone involved should be ashamed that the episode made it to air.

That was awful.

I thought last week was bad when it focused almost solely on two of the worst characters (Maggie and Sasha). And then this week came along, and gave me an hour and ten minutes of fricking Tara. frick you, TWD.

This show better get back on track soon. The good episodes are SO frickING GOOD, but then the bad ones are just so bad it's borderline unwatchable. This show loves to spread its characters out and then waste episodes focusing on each one/group, but this seems like it's gone way overboard. This episode was literally a giant waste of time. Pretty much the only thing that I can see this episode being useful for is that it gives Rick and company a way to get weapons. And if that's the only purpose this episode serves, then the writers should feel bad.

What a terrible episode.. It's obvious they're introducing all these places that will band together to take on the Saviors, but its so poorly done..

Am I the only one who thought Tara and Cindy were gonna hook up?
Then I remembered Tara didn't know about her previous girlfriend

Not a bad episode. Not great

Kind of how I feel, and I think we judge the episodes here harder than the average viewer.

My GF turned to me at the end and said "Hey, that was pretty good. We got some backstory and such." She is the epitome of the casual fan that makes up the base for this series.

I really loved the zombies in the dirt. Nice Fulci homage with dry zombies.

This was a total turd

If they panned around to each location in same episode it would be way more tolerable.
Works for game of thrones.

The worst part was where they tell us there are only 2 episodes left in 2016. It was a painful reminder of how this whole run of episodes has been nothing but one big snooze outside of the first episode.

NOTHING HAS HAPPENED. No one died. Not one big fight. No internal strife within the group. Nothing has moved the plot farther along outside of "obviously Rick and Co will get all of these groups together to fight The Saviors, oh and here is where they will get guns".

All of the story we have seen after the first episode could have been done in two episodes. We should be three weeks in, tops 4. Not 6.

So far, this is easily the worst half season run since season 2's shitfest.

They can't seem to handle more than one story line at a time per episode. Its frustrating.

Need to take notes from Lost, GoT, or something. They were pretty good at developing characters while showing more than one storyline an episode. They just seem to be going way overboard with singular character focused episodes. If you're going to do it, use interesting and compelling characters like Negan.

I hardly ever watch TD after the episodes, but did anybody watch it last night? Was Chris Dickhead trying to tell people how great of an episode they just watched? Like did they even try to justify how bad the episode was?

I know last week after that awful episode, my DVR caught the first minute or so of TD, and Chris was acting like SO MUCH STUFF happened. And one of the things he listed was how awesome it was that Maggie was all "My name is Maggie Rhee!" Like that was some huge deal or whatever. And I remember thinking to myself "If that's what you have to get hyped up on, then this show's quality is going downhill..."

And I say that as someone who always loved the show, and still does. It's one of my favorite shows on TV. But that doesn't mean that it is above criticism.

they are trying clumsily to get to where the characters that matter have to admit that what they did at the outpost was wrong. regardless of context

either pre emptive killing is right or wrong...can't have it both ways when it suits your personal potential gain. I have no idea why they are using surrogates to ponder this but at some point it's going to have to come from Rick etc and not secondary characters

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely hated the episode. Devoting an entire hour to Tara just seems silly.

That being said, if you keep the episode exactly the same but just swap Maggie for Tara, I doubt it gets that much hate.

I think it's a tad less about the horrible episode(again, I do think it was horrible) and a tad more about having only, what, 12 episodes a year of this show, and we just wasted 1 on just Tara.

I get what the show runners were trying to do
they miscalculated on how much screen time was required to get there
