According to IMDB, the Mustang at the end of the movie is Cruise's and he was flying it.

One of the best lines “what the frick was that?”.

So are there any crowd reaction videos of when DangerZone kicks in (assume it does and they were saving it for the theaters).

I would assume the crowd went nuts!!

It is his and the avionics tech who works on his P-51 also does the work on on my friend's P-51 and he said Cruise is an excellent pilot.

No clapping but there was some head bobbing, including myself.

And when Mav buzzed the bridge of the carrier in the F-14 at the end of the movie the entire theater clapped and cheered.

The wife and I just returned from a 2 o'clock show and then dinner. The movie was fantastic.

I can barely get through any movie once these days let alone watch one again and again. I saw Top Gun Maverick at noon today and I want to see it again. I'm ready to fly jets and shoot some shite hours later. It might be better than the original to me. Amazing.
