Of course now you go to the theater and get lectured by a raptor about fossil fuels.

The Hangman character in particular had a slappable face.
He’s the Steve Holt to Iceman’s GOB Bluth.

I just got back from the theater. I need to take it in a bit but I'm not sure it's a 9 or 9.5.
I think it's a solid 8.5 movie. First movie I saw in theaters since Star Wars 8.
Good movie, but I'm not sure I like it more than the original. It had a bit too much "cheese" in it for me, but was very good

I'd probably rate it an 8.5/10 as well. It's very rare that I rate anything these days a 9+ but Top Gun: Maverick came very close with me.

Just walked out of the theater. I am near speechless. It's not often that movies, especially one as hyped as this one, live up to it. But this one did in spades. The flight scenes were incredible, the plot was really good, Mav got his redemption for Goose, we got to see Ice in the flesh w/Val, and Jennifer Connelly is Fine AS frick! still at 51. And Phoenix is a babe. And I wanna knock Hangman's teeth down his throat.
One of the best sequels of all time, right up there w/Jedi, Godfather 2, and a couple of others.
Well done Tom Cruise. Well fricking done!

Good movie. We all thought it was better than the first one.

Someone with more knowledge probably has a simple answer for this question but why couldn’t they just tomahawk missile the underground uranium factory? I thought it was great they mentioned the F35 couldn’t do the mission due to radar jamming but thought, hell they could just tomahawk missile that area
Also, in regards to a 5th gen stealth jet vs F14 I feel like I have read that 5th gen jets aren’t great in dog fighting because they weren’t designed for that and the older F14 would have an advantage

Seen it on IMAX on Tuesday and it is worth the admission! I’m going to say now that it may be better than the first.

Tomahawks aren't really known for their bunker-busting capabilities but we do have missiles in our arsenal that could have done the job from longer range. But then we wouldn't have had a movie.

Saw it today. Two thumbs up!

Thanks and that’s what I figured. Just doing a small bit of nitpicking. Loved the movie and can’t wait to see it again

2 curse words the whole movie. It’s fine if your child exists in 2022 and has access to TV.

It exceeded my expectations and I expected a lot.

Movie was awesome! The scene with maverick and iceman felt real and not acting. I really hope Val gets more roles with the voice technology we have now. The flying looked real. I’ll definitely see it again at the movie theatre

Yes, the audience clapped a ton more than any movie I’ve been two in the last 6 years

What would be the best theater to see it at in BR taking into account both sound and screen?
