She failed in training and Kyle beat her and was about to kill her. Give what happened in the first two, Rey was not so over powered this time.
Uhhh with little training she was able to jump around and evade a tie fighter, stop lightsabers, stop a large ship in its tracks and pull it back to earth, shoot force lightning, force heal, force bring back life, mind control...every force power and more. Hell she learned more quickly than palpatine himself did.

I liked her being adopted by the sky walkers. Really that was the point, she had all the Jedi in her and he had all the sith. It was not a bad movie considering.
Why did she need to "have all the jedis in her"?
Why is Palpatine back after Return of the Jedi where he was killed?
It's amazing how many hoops people have to jump through to justify something that was clearly a total mess.
It was a horrible senseless Disney trilogy. They had no direction but they tried their damndest to throw out some last minute nostalgia to hook some folks.

Saw it last night and didn't hate it. There were things that didn't makes like how Palpatine was still alive and stupid things like taking out one dish halts the entire fleet. However it wasn't bad like TLJ. Honestly I think my expectations were so low going in that it made it more enjoyable.
Also that Rey and Kylo kiss was fricking weird

U guys need to realize it is the best they could have done given the last movie.
More like the janitor sprayed air-freshener after some one unloaded in the bathroom.

Just got out. Loved it and how they ended it all.

The fact that JJ tried to undo so much of TLJ makes me love this movie.

I agree, it was a good popcorn movie. All force powers except the transporter power are old cannon. The clones got of Palpatine was legends. Hell they cloned Luke and turned him dark in one book. Palpatine using force battle control was not new. It was a decent movie. More SW than the last one.
Foremost, they kept the political bullshite out of the film.

I agree, liked this movie. Wasn’t looking for any little detail that was gonna trigger me, just sat back and enjoyed the film for what it was. Sure it was busy, but they had to do that to clean up that shite pile Last Jedi film....I thought the ending was great way to end that trilogy.

I just don’t see how anyone who is either a fan of the OT or films in general could like this film. Aside from the Star Wars angle, it’s just a reallyyyy bad movie.

I’ve seen waaay worse movies, including several of the previous Star Wars movies. I enjoyed this movie for what it was, not for what I wanted it to be.

Luke appears as a Force Ghost catching it and walking out and says “That’s no way for a Jedi to treat their weapon”.
This was the biggest “frick you” to Rian Johnson ever and I loved it.
