Cloverfield says “hello”

I like Cloverfield but I'm quite positive it doesn't make my top 10 found footage, possibly not top 15 (but I'd have to think about it). Off the top of my head
The Conspiracy
Rec
Creep
Trollhunter
The Sacrament
The Poughkeepsie Tapes
Savageland
Borderlands/Final Prayer
VHS2
Hell House LLC
That's not even getting into The Blair Witch Project, Paranormal Activity, Grave Encounters, Rec 2, Noroi,The Taking of Debra Logan, Alien Abduction, As Above So Below, Lake Mungo, The Houses October Built, etc.
So many good/great FF

It might be my favorite subgenre of horror films. I love a good found footage movie. Or even a bad one.

I used to watch a bunch of them back when Amazon Prime was newer and had this insane library of randomness. You could apply to upload basically anything and they were pretty easy on the judgment.
They used to have a large short film library, too.
I'm trying to remember some random ones...Leaving DC? Something like that.
Then there was one where this kid goes to his grandfather's house and discovers he worked on alien projects and accidentally releases an alien from the shed in the backyard.
Lots and lots of microbudget UFO FF on Amazon back then

I am astonished you don't have this in your top ten FF list.

It kind of fizzles at the end but I think it may have the best scene in any FF movie

Any recommendations for creepy movies with a late night disc jockey as a key figure like in The Fog or The Vast of Night.

Tonight at the DWI house:
Dead Alive
City of the Living Dead
Haloween III" Season of the Witch

I just ran across that. Thanks. Wasn't there one in the 80s with either an alien invasion or zombies?

Probably
Pontypool has one of the best openings 1/3s of a horror movie ever

You have oddly specific tastes. But The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Part 2.

Not really a creepy movie but an old favorite, “The Warriors” 1979 has a DJ throughout the movie similar to “The Fog”

Tis time…
I’ve already watched Halloween 1 and 2 recently. As well as some decent ones Ive seen this year that’ll I’ll probably re-watch soon… Weapons, Sinners, 28 Years later to name a few.

I watched The Thing this morning. Such an awesome movie

I just watched Until Dawn on a plane. Not the best horror. But I'm a sucker for Groundhog day style loops. Was worth streaming.
