Indeed, the time is upon us. Perhaps we dawn the challenge mantle of October as we venture in the depths and the dark to view a film each night! Get your recommendations ready, all are welcome to attend and recommend.
From the horror of our past like The Uninvited, Curse of the Demon, The Gorgon or The Devil Rides Out
To perhaps the lesser known like Dark Night of the Scarecrow, Uncle Sam, Let Sleeping Corpses Lie, The Forgotten One, or The Stepfather
To the crazy 80s like Night of the Demons, Night of the Creeps, Chopping Mall, Return of the Living Dead…
Or the gems of the 90s like Candyman, Event Horizon, The Resurrected, House on Haunted Hill, and Scream
The scares go on and on. Which will you choose? Are you up for the challenge or are you too chicken (sup mod)? Channel your inner William Castle and turn your love for Halloween into a spectacle!

Happy Birthday To Me.
If anyone tells you they figured out the killer, they're a lying sack of shite.

Not the best horror. But I'm a sucker for Groundhog day style loops.
You should try Triangle.

This movie gave me a headache, but I still enjoyed it.
I would recommend “Strange Harvest” on Amazon Prime Video. It’s currently only available to rent, but I thought it was extremely well done and worth the cost to watch. It’s a faux documentary that is so realistic at times that you forget you’re watching a movie. It’s about the search for a serial killer who murders his victims in some truly horrific ways. Most of the murders are off screen and you only see the aftermath, but it’s still pretty graphic. As if the killing isn’t bad enough, the reason behind it turns out to be even more disturbing.

The problem with recommending movies with time loops is that you spoil a pretty important part of the movie if you know the characters are in a time loop.
The movie you recommended is great, but it's much better to go into it not knowing it's a time loop movie (which is why I removed the name in my "quote").

we started early - my wife loves the Hocus Pocus films and Killer Klowns - so we have watched those to get them out of the way. about to start a Childs Play Marathon and watch all the films.

We watch Trick R Treat, Halloween, and a wildcard (usually something newer) every year on Halloween night. We sprinkle in 2 or 3 a week during October. Me and the wife both love horror.

Setting a personal goal of 31 horror movies I’ve never seen in 31 days. I don’t know if this is realistic but Imma try. Just added the Criterion Channel.
Watched The Shout last night. Bizarre 70’s British horror flick with John Hurt and Tim Curry.

If you like weird and bizarre slow burn British horror, check out the tenant.
If you want to watch a couple of classic British horror films, might I recommend The Devil Rides Out and The Gorgon.

I've become bored with Hollywood and mainstream movies in general and have been mostly watching indie and foreign movies for the last few years, with much of that being horror. I'll post some of my favorites that have never been mentioned here and I'm guessing most people have never heard of. If you're looking for something different and tired of the same old movies, try one of these.
Lowlifes - a fun twist on The Hills Have Eyes formula trailer
Splinter - very tense, cool practical effects trailer
Deadstream - found footage/livestream horror/comedy, this was a lot of fun trailer
Hatching - Finnish movie about a girl who hatches a weird creature. Gets super dark. I'd compare it to Black Swan trailer
The Vourdalak - French vampire movie for people into old fashioned eastern European vampire lore. Fans of the new Nosferatu should check this out. Also the vampire is played by a puppet. trailer
