4 times seeing it now, I’m convinced Steve kept the Soul Stone.

Just watched it.

I was mildly disappointed in some of it.

I was actually pleasantly surprised by Brie Larson's character and performance.

It started going south when Thanos showed up.

Didn't like how thor was portrayed at all.

Something about the hulk bothered me too.

Not even mentioning the captain America thing at the end.

Just got out. I’m a glass case of emotion.

My wife literally said “There using Back to the Future Rules” just before Tony says it. I let out an audible laugh.

Not going to lie. I giggled like a child when Cap picked up Mjnoir. Especially when he used the Avengers Assemble line.

Liked Caps end. Steve deserves a life. Still think Bucky takes up the mantle.

Well done MCU.

I mean, Tony’s last line was the line that started all this 10 years ago. It was perfect.

Exactly, that’s when you knew things would be different. Up until then, all heroes tried to keep their identity a secret or at least stay out of the public spotlight.

Just saw the film and it was worth it to avoid spoilers......all I can say is what a way to culminate 10+ years of films.

It's going to take a lot to create characters like Iron Man and Capt America that people will get that emotionally invested in....the only one I can see taking that step right now is maybe Black Panther....I'm ready for the next ride though hopefully it will be as good as this one was

I mean it isn't all bad. I basically liked the movie. Not as much as I thought that I would. Not sure what in my opinion was out of line. The other guy that commented is adding stalking to being a shitty person.

Yep.

The best part for me, and what made it truly worth it all, was to look over at my 12 year old sitting in the theatre chair smiling from ear-to-ear when all the Avengers came back together to fight Thanos and his army.

Great stuff.

Saw it for a second time tonight
Was kinda worried I’d get bored during the first act. Nope
Thoroughly enjoyed it all this time around.

Same here. Different feeling seeing Bucky say goodbye to Cap. And Cap definitely went back to the 40’s, not the 70’s.

When Thanos used time stone in IW to turn back clock on Vision’s stone being destroyed did he create a new timeline?

no because he didn’t travel to a different point in time.

he actually reversed time itself.

when traveling through time, the timeline is still moving forward and the person is moving to different points within that timeline.

when rewinding time, he actually moved the entire timeline backwards.

Which they could’ve done too but Tony’s daughter wouldn’t exist and tony wouldn’t allow that to happen

Quick question: So the way I read the scene, Cap was always worthy. He knew it in Ultron and elected not to pick it up. Am I right?

There are two schools of thought on that:

1. He could pick it up and elected not to.

2. He couldn’t yet because he was harboring some guilt about not telling Tony that Bucky Murdered his parents. Keeping that kind of secret from a friend made him unworthy.

It's stated in Civil War that Peggy Carter was 96 when she died, meaning she was born in 1920. She was a year older than Steve, making him 24 when he receives the serum and 25 when he goes under the ice.

In the Avengers film, chronologically he is 91 years old even though he's only 26 physically. In Age of Ultron, he's 29 physically, 94 actually. During Civil War, he makes the comment to Bucky when he says that "Dot" is probably 95 years old by now that, "so are we".

Physically, he's 38 at the end of Endgame. If you assume that someone with the serum ages at 50-75% the rate of a normal human, if he came back in 1970, his physical age would be 91, but he would look closer to Robert Downey Jr.'s actual age.

If he came back in 1949-1950, his physical age now matches his actual age (106).
