steve is super human
sam is not
it seems like sam should just stay as the falcon, relying on his wings and tech for fighting
if anyone got the shield, it should have been bucky
People said the same stuff about early stuff when Whedon didn't really use him effectively. The Russos did and made Cap on screen what he should have been all along.
Same for Falcon. In the comic books he's pretty legit. His hand to hand gets close to Steve. He actually has a telepathic link to birds (maybe they'll do that some other way), and he's probably Marvel's best aerialist outside of maybe Angel. They've actually done a pretty good job with him as he flew circles around War Machine in Civil War.

Movie was freaking great. Took a little time to get going, but it was really cool seeing Thanos as the end boss and getting the fight between him and the Avengers we didn’t get in Infinity War.
Only a couple things that felt a little “meh”...
The “girl power” moment was one of those rarer times the MTV board would be right when talking about pushing an agenda. That was a little cringey and completely unnecessary/unrealistic.
They foreshadowed the Stark death way too hard.
Probably the most emotional moment for me was seeing Happy holding Stark’s little girl and talking about the cheeseburgers. Damn that was a great scene. It felt so legitimate and real. Kind of came out of nowhere with how everyone was acting so stoically at that point.
That battle seen with all the heroes vs Thanos’ army, all of his wizards, and the boss man himself was so great.
They had a lot of really well placed comedy in the movie too. That really surprised me. Didn’t overuse it and almost all of the jokes hit really well and were funny.
Thor and Star Lord on the ship at the end was hilarious.
All in all, a great movie and one of the better comic book movies though I wouldn’t say it was my favorite Marvel movie. I actually liked Infinity War more than Endgame.

Something I'm wondering after watching it again, was it ever explained how Stark knew that the tesseract and pym particles were at the army base in 1970 even though he wasn't born yet?

I'm gonna watch it again this weekend but I dont think it was addressed.

I’m going to assume since he inherited his dad’s company that the information was given to him. He said “trust me I know” or something like that IIRC.

He was given a lot of his fathers’ files from SHIELD. Probably read it in there.

Howard Stark was searching for the Tesseract and accidentally found Cap, so it would have been documented.

This is why current cap should have just worked 2014 Whedon cap

I agree with a lot that has been said already. It's a great ending to the last 10+ years of storytelling. It wrapped up Tony and Cap's characters very well and really pulled on some emotional strings. Endgame is fantastic for what it was intended to be, The End.
I like Infinity War better mainly because it juggles many different plot lines so well and the last 90 mins is just non-stop comic book splash page.
My issues are small.
Fat Thor got old.
Some of the editing during the Time Heist bothered me. Outside of Tony and Cap at he Army base, the other parts had strange cuts.
The final battle while awesome, seemed really short compared to what we saw on Titan/Wakanda.
The "Thor in Wakanda" moment with Captain Marvel arriving back on Earth could have been so much better.

You gonna explain this stupidity?
You might literally be the only person on the planet that thinks this.
Look I get it, he’s proven himself worthy to use it. But for me, the god of thunder should be the only one that is able to wield that thing otherwise what sets him apart?

He's not the God of hammers.

She’s way too new to audiences for her to have gotten that kind of pop....Someone mentioned earlier Fury blowing it to hell may have felt more earned

I guess it’s safe to assume Thor will be with the guardians in GOTG3? That should be good

You are basically missing the entire comic history of Thor/Mjolnir.

think they hinted towards this in AOU ? It moved.

I don't remember people being upset that Vision could wield Mjolnir in Age of Ultron.
