it was the complete opposite of upset. Everyone cheered.

Look I get it, he’s proven himself worthy to use it. But for me, the god of thunder should be the only one that is able to wield that thing otherwise what sets him apart?
Thor is not the God of all Gods. He is simply worthy enough in his fathers eye to lead the people of Asgard, hence he can wield the hammer. There are other people that meet that criteria of worthiness.
What sets Thor apart is the fact that he doesn't need the hammer to be a bad arse. As his father told him, he's not the god of hammers.

I think those upset are in the minority

Didn’t realize it was from the comics. I guess I’m fighting a losing battle on this one lol. To each his own
I think it’s the Thor fan boy in me that just wants him to be the best lol

Also, whatever happened to the gauntlet requiring a specially made tool by an ancient race of weapons makers? Tony Stark makes a glove in a short period of time.
Tony is a genius who figures out how to go back in time, but him figuring out how to make a glove that can channel power? He knew he just needed it to work enough for a snap.

Just stopping in to complain about the idiot who decided to cross the interstate on foot and subsequently died after being struck by a vehicle. Your Darwin worthy accomplishment caused me to sit in traffic for 2.5 hours and miss my showing of Endgame. I feel no bit of sympathy for your loss.

Thanos at his baseline is essentially just an intelligent, weaker Hulk.
How do you explain him whooping Hulks arse with the help from any stones to start off IW then?

I didn't read the whole thread, so forgive me if this has been answered already. But, was Dr. Strange gesturing to Tony before Tony grabbed the gauntlet to do his snap? If so, what was the gesture?

He flipped him off.
Or he put up one finger signifying that this was the one way they would win.

Yes, he gestured. He was essentially saying "This is THE chance, this is THE defining moment, this is THE one in 14 million scenarios, it's up to you to do something NOW."

That's what I figured. I was trying to keep from releasing the piss I'd been holding for 2 hours, so I was a little distracted.

It was immediately after Thanos knocked Captain Marvel into next week with the power stone. At first I thought he was gesturing to Stark with his finger held up saying "hold up, wait for it" then Carol was going to come storming back at Thanos. Glad I was wrong.
