And lex using his own blood to create doomsday allowed him to control it.
But why? Maybe the reasoning was there in a longer cut, maybe we should just accept it, but those are massive oversights.

This is the first superhero movie in a long time I want to see again.
Believe the Dark Knight was the last one I saw twice in theatre. Now BvS is about to get seen again in the theatre.

The martha scene was just so bad, just as bad was his line "hey Martha will not die tonight" Thank God her name wasn't Susan or Sara, or they'd both be dead.
The next is why its tough to have Batman in this universe. "I know we've got like 5 minutes before your mom is burned to death, but let me go handle that, you go tend to that downtown thing."
It would take Superman all of 5 seconds to fly over there, save his mom, and then head downtown to deal with Lex. You're going to leave that up to chance?

But why?
So it wouldn't kill lex and lex could use doomsday to kill the other meta humans after supes is dead?
That's what makes sense to me

what made you think he has any control over Doomsday? It tried to kill him.

No but why does the blood work and how does Luthor know it? It makes no sense.

Lex discovering the Kyrptonian monster cook book is in the extended version.

Love is a strong word. Let's say I really liked it for now.
It's still growing on me. And with other DC movies released that will help explain some of the scenes clearly meant to be revealed in later movies, I'm sure I'll like it even more.

Didn't he have the whole Kryptonian archives explained to him by the ship?

And I really didn't like how not only did they create Doomsday this way, I can take that, but apparently even though it's something that is forbidden, per the computer's warning, Kryptonians still built the technology and processes to do this without a fail safe, an alternative protocol or anything. It's like a 5-year old go go in there and say "Build me a giant monster!" "Ok!"

He used an alien ship to create doomsday. I took it as one of the steps in the creation ritual the ship taught him prior to creating doom.

I don't think Superman was completely back to being Superman, which is why Batman went. That's the best I can do, and what i made myself believe watching it.
Superman also didn't know where she was yet.
And if Batman didn't go, then we wouldn't know that Batman and Superman are now friends after they just tried to kill each other 5 minutes ago.

In a couple of hours, you're going to find the process to build a giant monster?
"Nope that's exactly what I was looking for, I'll stop there!" Not to mention, that is part of his plan, so he knew that before going into the ship.

Where are you getting the couple of hours?
And even if it was only 2 hours, whose to say he didn't luck into finding it in those 2 hours.

I mean, who knows how long he was really in there.

I interpreted his "taking control" of the ship as part of his plan to learn more about how to kill Superman through Kryptonian means and therefore leverage himself as smarter and more powerful than other humans.
I thought he only wanted Zod's body to gain access to the ship. I didn't think creating Doomsday was part of his ultimate plan.

I've already addressed this.
How did you address it?

see the leaps you're having to make due to Snyder's incredibly shitty story telling? Not saying every thing needs to be spelled out for the viewer, but shite he just kind of glossed over some major plot points.
