Leia isn't supposed to be known to the Empire as a Rebel until A New Hope.
I mean, 'known' Rebel, maybe you're right, but she was doing rebel shite well before a new hope. She was in Rebels, doing rebel shite.
Palpatine and Anakin know who Bail was during the Clone Wars, and so did Tarkan. It's why they had no problem blowing up Alderaan b/c they knew that was a planet full of people that didnt' like the empire.

The Tera sinube cameo in the jedi tomb was cool. Everything else sucked.

. Hopefully they will then focus more on Obi-Wan in particular in season two.
He's too white and male. You will need more women (even better if its a woman of color) in the show somehow, or at least Kathleen Kennedy will force it in.

This show hasn’t been canceled yet?

I just finished it. This episode wasn’t that great, but it’s hard to match last weeks episode. There were some good moments, but overall just a very weak effort.
Reva’s interrogation was awful, and they should have just scrapped that scene. I did like Obi-Wans scenes and him starting to get back his Jedi groove.
They have a lot to wrap up over the next two episodes. I just hope we get some decent Anakin scenes at some point.

I just posted this in the Episode 3 discussion, but figured I would add here for the sake of conversation.
Finally caught up and watched episodes two and three last night.
The Good
I like Ewan as Obi-Wan and his pessimism with the galaxy.
The Bad
Holy shite. The writing and logic of the bulk of these characters is awful. Why in the hell is Obi-Wan not just picking up this 10 year-old girl and just going where he needs to go instead of allowing her to lead the parade through the streets of a planet where everyone is looking for them?
Why is Reeva flipping between two buildings and other acrobatic shite like that when all she has to do is jump down, levitate, or run. How in the hell is she able to start at one point of a tunnel and simply end up at the other end before the person she is chasing?
The Ugly
I love Vader scenes, I really do. He was menacing, and we know he killed children before. Seeing him indiscriminately snap a kid's neck was jarring for sure, but I liked his Pepe le peu chase of Obi-Wan...until this menace who just killed people, has been waiting for 10 years for this moment, who just dragged his enemy through fire inexplicably stops because...fire? No fricking way. That guy they just showed me is either dragging Obi-Wan through the fire to him or walking through that to get what he wants.
There are some cool moments, some interesting moments, but Vader has thought that he was a master from before he was put on the council. This whole interaction negates the, "When last last we met, I was but the learner. Now I am the master," line in A New Hope. Leia's hologram message to Obi-Wan in A New Hope now seems bizarre because instead of referencing that time he rescued her from Inquisitors, she only speaks about how years ago he served her father during the Clone Wars.
This show is shitting on continuity, and logic, way too much.

Why do we have a thread for each episode for this show?

The only positive parts of this series are the ones with Ewan leading the scene.
Which should be the vast majority of the scenes given that the title of the show is OBI-WAN KENOBI

Reva interrogating Leia made me think it was a skit from SNL, absolutely terrible dialogue and acting.

From what I gathered so far reading the comments. Casual Star Wars fans like this show and the hardcores hate it.

Not a bad episode imo but really feels like a couple of missed opportunities to have Obi Wan stealing a storm trooper’s armor as a call back to the Clone Wars and I REALLY expected a flashback scene with de-aged Ewan and Hayden when they were in the bacta tanks.
Seeing Kenobi’s strength in the Force coming back so quickly was really awesome to watch. The mind trick on the storm troopers was a great call back. It seems like the pieces are in place for all hell to break loose in these next two episodes and the Vader/Kenobi rematch better be all time.
The disguise when Kenobi and Leia was really goofy but would’ve worked a lot better if Obi Wan acknowledged the absurdity with “this will never work” or something along those lines.
I love their portrayal of Vader especially his rage towards Reva after the escape but it seemed like he calmed down way quicker than I expected even with her information. It’s going to be very disappointing if Reva doesn’t die by Vader’s blade or the Grand Inquisitor’s imo.
Also, were any of us supposed to give a frick about Wade dying?

I haven’t seen it mentioned yet but most of the fifth brother’s lines and acting are extremely cringey.

Meh. This show is high-level fanfic like all the ones you can find on YouTube. This storyline is just plain bad. There’s a bit of morbid enjoyment to be had watching it, though:
ETA: Wade dying felt like the Futurama Star Trek episode when Welshy died

Agree with you. Liked the first 3 but this one as not great. There was some cool stuff but it was just bad

I mentioned in the episode 2 or 3 discussion that I thought he was worse than Reva. I think the director is getting bad takes from them on purpose at this point.

He might be worse than Reva.
And to that, the look of the inquisitors in live action is something Disney did a very poor job on. The Fifth Brother wasn't a space asian, and the Grand Inquisitor looked nothing like his Rebels counterpart or the other Utapauans we saw in ROTS.

I was coming here to say these exact things. If they throw a line in there about the absurdity, it makes it understandable. Instead, I kept thinking how all these soldiers are on high alert and don't notice an extra pair of legs under a jacket.
I also thought Vader calmed down way too quick. That scene could've used an extra few seconds.
And I really don't understand what they were trying to accomplish with Wade. They had to have cut 90% of his screen time for that mood to have made any sense.
