I know people still dig Tom Cruise's action movies but it seems like him and Tom Hanks have just lost their charisma as they've gotten older. Tom Hanks is boring as hell now and so is Tom Cruise when he's not doing stunts

News of the World is a novel. It is about a guy who has to take a young girl home to her extended family after she had spent time in captivity with a Native American tribe. The tribe kidnapped her and killed her parents. The man's regular job is a traveling news reader, charging people to listen to him read the news in these small towns.

I spent 40 years working proudly in journalism and I retired 8 years ago. Now I’m embarrassed to admit it. The media is unrecognizable to me today.
